However if the recent negative attitude re our management has made them realise that for most of 2025 their resuults have been absolutely woeful and the Grimsby result is a pointer that they both realise they were wrong, then maybe job done. The next 2 league games are crucial.

Recently I posted that IMO 60% of our supporters would be against any change in management. Over the last few home games .two of us have asked a number of supporters if they would like to see a change of management. The majority were stunned that we would ever consider it, the rest showed no interest , and had no opinion
Some of you here have a far better opinion on our team than I do but I have to say that watching them on Saturday, I was very surprised about how skilful our players are and they really did tie the Grimsby defenders in knots. I thought our defence was good as indeed was the GK with me being a bit negative beforehand. I also have to swallow my pride being I was against having youngsters in the team but seeing a young boy ie ET...scoring 3 goals and him being in the right position and our players passing the ball to him really was a delight to see.

I think our left defensive side could do with some work as I said their two goals came from that side and noticed that on the other matches I saw on the highlights but I would think our managers and coaches would see that in the games and certainly when they analyse the games the next week etc.

It could that our players need a boost of summat or other to get them in the right frame of mind before the games as possibly they are too relaxed when we play lower teams and then lose the game but then we are gelled up to play the better teams like Grimsby. I don't know how that could be done to be honest but we really are a team good enough for the playoffs based on the first four games and last Saturday.

Dave Artell needs to understand that its not that his team played poorly but that our skills and our football was better than theirs and they were allowed only to play as well as we let them!

OTOT it could have been MikeSB that made the difference!

Just curious...who are the two (or one as one is yourself) who suggested a possible change of management? And who are those who were stunned by the question? The other category you refer to is "no opinion". Interested to know which group I'm in and when exactly I took that position.
Just for clarity and transparency, mind!

I will try my best to answer. 1. Recently I was without a car and had to use the No. 12 bus to get to the games. After the Swindon game I got on the bus to return home. Another supporter was at the same bus stop and we got talking. We both were of the opinion rgat a change of management was overdue. On Nantwich Rd another 4 supporters joined. We asked them if they thought LB and RD should be replaced. Not only were they stunned, they obviouisly thought we were a couple of weirdos. Myself and the younger supporter agreed that we would ask more supporters for their opiniom. 2. The ones who would not answer /not interested were supporters sitting in my area. Season ticket holders for many years. 3. IMO means in my opinion. 4. It was not a questionaire se names taken. 5. From your recent posts i have formed the opinion that reluctantly you feel that LB and RD should be replaced.

        Hope the answers helped.

Thanks for that. My question was based on the way the post reads. It seemed to give the impression that the 'survey' was related to your earlier post. However, your reply has cleared things up and the two ideas were separate events. Thanks for that🙂
