  • OT FarceBook

So, there I am watching a video on Farce book. The video suddenly stops and I get a Captcha screen wanting me to repeat a half crossed out number sequence. I post the numbers and hit continue. It then wants me to permit a video shot of me and I have to move my head from side to side in order to prove I'm a human being and not a bot. Until such time as I do that, my FB page is suspended and I van no longer advertise on there. Neither can I, it seems, use Farcebook at all as logging out and back in sees them wanting the video....

Daftest thing is that I don't advertise on FB anyway.

    Goodbye Farcebook

    Here's the message I get https://www.facebook.com/checkpoint/...F%3Flsrc%3Dlb#

Further investigation has shown that both my FB accounts, both "personal" and DJ account have been hacked.

To appeal, I'd have to log in to my account. I can't.

Been there before MA and you have my sympathy although i think I was reported (for being underage!) to FB by a publishing rival. There was no way back, I had to rebuild my personal and business pages from scratch. Sorry to hear you?ve had a problem and sorry I can?t offer a way out of your problem

I've been blocked by Twitter for being under the age of 13, can't say I'm too bothered to be honest

They’ve obviously encountered your sense of humour!

They said I could appeal but not how. A while later they sent me an email saying that I'd been suspended because of the contenet of an advert I posted. I don't post adverts. I had to jump through several hoops but they got me back online and I changed my password to something right complicated. That looks OK.

Then I checked my DJ page and I'd forgot the password and the address they wanted to send the change password email to was a yahoo address. I've never had a yahoo address. I have, however, managed to inform them of that issue, got a link to change the PW, did so and then changed the email address back to what it should be.

Both FB pages hacked on the same day. Unreal.
