Beck as he's fit and JE likes the way he plays

Ozoh as he Ebou and Kenzo played well as a 3 in the few games they had together last season

Ward as he's the best crosser and dead ball player we have

Agbawodikeizu as I think he's done enough to warrant a start

Ward has shown he's got quality no doubt. My concern is if we start him who do we play there for the other 45 games and 80 minutes.

Is Clarke fit? Thought he was injured, in which case Forsyth or Rooney are in contention.

Agbawodikeizu and CBT (never thought I’d say that) certainly seem to have had a good pre season, but isn’t Morris a starting candidate?

Morris is a starting candidate. I put Agba in my XI as he's done more, IMO, than Morris, with less game time, in pre season.

By all accounts Rhian Brewster might be starting....

Personally, I don't see that happening. Cost Sheff U 23.5M from Liverpool. He's a striker, not a winger and we have Morris, Agbawodikeizu and Brown fit with Lars and Agyemang still to recover from their respective ops and Weimann who can play up top or as a 10 or a false 9. Do we need him?

He'll cost a bomb and I'd rather go for a proper winger than a striker to play right wing.

Totally agree. Chequered career, tends to be injury prone, apparently on 35k pw last season and, as a striker, has a poor gpg ratio.

                      8 goals in 106 appearances. That's a goal every 13.25 games.

Connor Sammon with 10 in 83 has always been my benchmark of futility in a striker for anyone with more than 50 appearances for us, yet his strike rate is better than (a still young) Montgomery with 8 in 106.... so I'm guessing Brewster hasn't really being playing striker so much as wide or midfield??

Well hopefully if he signs we'll be talking about the number of goals he's scored as Brewsters Millions.

Well we have signed him today, be on the subs bench I reckon.

Blades fans tell me he played as a second striker/attacking midfielder or an attacking midfielder on the right. They say he puts himself about and creates space for others, which might explain why his goal tally is poor?
