  • Matchday Thread: Rams v Millwall.

One of my least favourite teams but a side we seem to rarely beat and who are having a decent season. Currently sitting pretty in third position, though strangely they have scored fewer goals than us and we share the same (-2) GD.

Can we pick ourselves up after that dreadful first half hour on Saturday? I really do hope so. Another home defeat and the atmosphere won?t be good. If Millwall score first I suspect it will be a horrible evening. Hopefully Eustace will send them out with harsh words ringing in their ears and a combination of determination, concentration and commitment will lead to a welcome three points at home. 2-1.

Yes, reaction victory to the Rams. 3-0.

A lot of buggering on this forum just lately🤔

Having said that I reckon there's no buggering chance we'll win against a team that is always a tough nut to crack.

            1-2 defeat looms.

1-1 I reckon, we can't be as bad as last Saturday? Can we?

I think it’s because unlike te*n, s*x and v*tal, bugger - or any of its derivatives - are weirdly acceptable to our forum masters.

Can’t remember such a wide range of predictions. If Sith’s right the drinks are on me!

                    0-2.

They are having a good season. As with all Millwall sides, this lot are very "physical" in MF. Adams is walking a tightrope, collecting yellows like they are going out of fashion and a 2nd yellow or straight red is on the cards, especially with his current liking of getting overly verbal with refs.

The 1343 should be abandoned for this game as it will see us overrun in MF. 1352 is what I'd do. If Nelson is fit to start, I'd start him in between Langas and Clarke in the back 3. I'd be tempted to play Sanderson (or Tommo) in the 5 alongside Ebou and Clark. Salvesen and Agyemang up top, Ward and Elder as the wing backs. Even then, I think their "physicality" might see us overrun.

The teams should be told that Lars likes to run the channels or drop back to pick up the ball and bring others into play. He's not a Morris like target man and we shouldn't play him as such.

Anybody know why it's a Wednesday game when all our other midweek home games have been on a Tuesday?

Takes longer to get here by horse and cart

Well Rams & OTR I reckon you have a good chance of beating us manyama because we have run out of midfielders due to injuries so we will be tough for us, but hope for a good game.

We don't have a surplus of midfielders either, with our best two injured, plus lost our top striker and our best right back.

Out lightweight MF will get bullied out of the game and we're doomed to another home defeat by Millwall.
