1-1. A point against the club still 3rd in the table. That looks like a good result, doesn't it? The stats would agree with that verdict.

    Possession 55% - 45%
    Shots 13 - 12
    Shots on target 4 - 2
    xG 1.14 - 1.02

    Touches inside opposition box 31 - 23
    Goalkeeper saves 1 - 4

All looks like a game we were unlucky not to win.

However, is that what you witnessed last night? IMO, a mixture of poor shooting, poor final passes and good blocking masked the fact that we were cut wide open on so many occasions. A more efficient strike force would have seen us several goals down. We got away with that one.

Much as predicted. Horrible game, dreadful football, two sides - tbf both ravaged by injury - lacking quality and a clueless referee.
The only good points were that our heads didn’t drop after we went behind, the subs did make a difference and we might have gone on to snatch it, but ultimately can’t argue with MARP’s above appraisal.

A point is a point, is a point. Snatching draws from the mouth of defeat is always a good return, we just need to stop snatching defeat from victory.
Nothing like a bit of generic bull****, but describes it well I think.
