He would never have to work again though...

      Hes acting weird though.

The huddle stuff was ridiculous. Handing our written notes on 80 plus minutes losing 8-2 , what's that about?

It doesn't look very positive for him, Chelski fans already calling for him to be sacked, if he doesn't make top 5 I think his tenure will be short.

I've always thought of him more of a top level coach than manager, though quelle le difference these days, but some of his recent utterngs have been borderline insane, seems to me the pressure is getting to him already.

Basket case of a club. Should have stayed put, where he was appreciated.

Whacked by the Toffees tonight, bang bang as another nail is driven home. Nice bloke at a not nice club, dole queue awaits!

Completely agree, but with a six year(!)contract I doubt he’ll have too many money worries, mac.

Correct, another barrow load of the fans hard earned brass pissed up the wall!

One would have thought there was a break clause in the contract, perhaps based on performance? Unless the billionaire Americans now "running" the club really don't ahve any business sense. Whatever, he will bank a nice payoff, but his reputation could be permanently damaged.

Good to Moyes doing OK though, always liked the bloke and a Briitish manager in the mix is good to see. Its a shame for Rosenior, but like Potter before him it wasn't the best move career wise, though financially they won't lose. I want to see more British managers succeed.

...and there he goes, wave goodbye. 3 months into a 66 month deal. Lasted about as long as he did with us but may make a few more quid out of them. At least thats the end of the stupid centre circle huddle to prevent opposition kicking off.

Paul Warne the new bookies favourite.

At least I can return to my default position and start hating Chelsea again.

Break clause limits it to 4m I believe - and if he gets another job then mitigation may mean less

Still 4 million aint bad! I thought at the time it would end in tears, sooner than i thought but there we go. He isn't a "bad" manager but noiwhere near expereinced enough forthe Chelsea job and nowhere near as good as some make hin out to be (apologies RA!).

No need to apologise. I’ve never seen him as some sort of panacea for ailing clubs, just a decent bloke whose signings made a massive difference to Derby in our hour of need.
Chelsea are a basket case of a club and have been a graveyard for far more experienced managers so maybe not an appropriate yardstick to judge him by. He made a difference to us, did well at Hull and very well at Strasbourg.
Wish him well and doubt we’ve heard the last of him. Who knows, maybe take over from Rowett, although I suppose they really need Warne now…in the short term.
