  • Matchday Thread: Rams v Wrexham

Can we build on yesterday's sterling effort with another three points against this lot?

    Anyone?

Saw the first half hour of them at Blackburn before setting off for Pride Park yesterday. Blackburn were really poor but Wrexham looked confident, well organised and very sharp on the break. Won?t be easy. 1-1.

Very tricky, but I think we'll come good. 2-1

They're on a good run and pushing for play offs, we are picking up points playing crap.
Can't see us winning so a draw will do for me, 1-1.

It looks a certain draw, so I'm going for a cheeky 2-1, up yours Hollywood nerds!!

Disappointing. Bad time to play them. They’re on a roll and we’re looking in need of a lift.
Two points and unbeaten would probably have been a fairer reflection of our two New Year home games so overall we can’t complain, but it’d be nice to see an upturn in home form.

Anyone know if MA/RP is okay? Seems to have been very quiet recently.

With regard to the match as the game went on we looked knackered and their greater class shone through. Disappointing but not a surprise.

I had wondered where RP was but had put it down to Xmas/ new year taking precedent. Hope everything is ok.

Disappointed we couldn't hold on, or turn the lead after levelling up. Lacking killer instinct at the moment.

Disappointing, if some players were "tired" why not use the squad? Not sure 3 at the back works thatwell at the moment. Still given Wrexham's riches not a surprising result and we are comfortably mid table.

If it's this RP to who you refer, I was away sunning in Corralejo, Furteventura. Got back home about 3 this morning.

Watched the game in the Talk of the Town on my tablet. Same old, same old for me. Struggled at times to clear our lines. No challenges in midfield. Oppo players get to make 40 to 50 yards unchallenged. Too many poor passes.

                        A bit colder here then!

We've got the orange one mentioned frequently on here, well you must now be the brown one

Good to have you back MA/RP. How was Fuerteventura? January, especially the first week, always seems about six weeks too early for me. Be good to know.

Worse January weather than normal. Stronger wind, force 6 on Wednesday. First 2 nights we had rain but we were asleep so that was OK. On 2 different days we had 2 90 second long showers. 5 minutes later, everywhere was dry again. People we know who have lived there for more than 20 years say it's by far the worst December/early January they have experienced. Our 3rd January trip and it's the worst Jan weather we've experienced. Hopefully back to normal next year.

Having said that, rain in the night isn't a problem, a couple of showers idem ditto, 20 to 23 degrees in the daytime despite the strong winds is what we'd expect and it was what we got. Probably back there in May.

Thanks. Last time I went - Lanzarote in late November - it was the wind that was the problem. Still sounds better than here though. Don’t think it’s been above freezing between 4.00 pm and 10.00 am this year.
