  • OT - Wendy's woes

North Stand shut for safety reasons. Now reports it might be ready for their first home game. They've sold out their away allocation at Coffintree. No transfer fees up to the winter of 2027 window.

They are in a right mess and, especially remembering how we all felt when we were in danger of going bust, I hope they survive.

However, I will NEVER forget that the bar stewards sang, at Pride Park, that they were gonna party when Derby County died. May their suffering be long and drawn out.

It only takes a small minority to make a lot of noise. For me Sheffield Wednesday is one of the great and most historical names of English football. Love beating them but really hope they survive.
There was an old guy (in his nineties) on the news last night who burst into tears talking about the doubts surrounding the future existence of his club.
I hate that ‘Johnny come lately’ owners can do that to clubs and their life blood supporters. Just seems to illustrate how unfit for purpose football administrators are.
Spare a thought for Morecambe too. One rule for the likes of them, Bury, us and Wednesday, a totally different one it seems for Man. City.

If they do implode and a Phoenix club emerges, maybe they can call it Sheffield Friday...

Morecambe had a pop up shop for sale of their new home shirt... queues 3 and 4 deep over a long distance. I hope those fans get to see Morecambe playing this season and for many more to come.

I hope Wendy survive but, as I said, I won't forget 3200 of them in the SE Corner gloating... Karma's a bitch intit lads?

Every team has its dickheads and I’m sure we have our share. I feel nothing for SW but I do feel for their fans one of which is a very good friend who always keeps up to date with Derby’s fortunes out of friendship. I’m sure there are way more than 3200 like him and I hope for their sakes there’s a solution

We agree then. We hope they survive.
