  • Matchday Thread: Preston v Rams

Preston flying relatively high and we are just bumping along, anyone got anyhope forthis one?

Our away from isnt bad (at least compared to home) so I think a 1-1 draw is quite plausible. Anyway, isnt it a local derby for Blackburn, so anything could happen... Szmodics to score for us!!

Hard fought 1-1, but at least Harrison Armstrong can’t come back to haunt us.

Can't see us getting anything here, 2-1 loss if we are lucky!

A bit confused where we are. Are we still on the up but just had a blip recently, have we peaked and are settling into mid table obscurity or are we about to plummet back into the mire of relegation??
Can't make my mind up as I can't over this game.
I'll go for home advantage, 3 - 1 to Preston.

2-1 Derby, don't underestimate our ability to shine one week then be terrible the next 3!

                Home win, unfortunately. 2-1.

What a bunch of pessimists. Excellent 3 points which only Ramshank saw coming. Hope the remainder of his prediction doesn’t come true.

Deserved result, very well taken goal from Agyemang though how he missed the earlier sitter perhaps only he knows!

One of our best perormanes of the season thus far. More fluidity in the play. Far from perfect but better. Deserved win. Aggy, 2 chances, ballons the easy first one over. How? Puts the second out of the keeper's reach. Good header. Happy with both the performance and the result. One thing I'm still not happy with is our not marking of players and all too often allowing the man in possession to drive 50 yards through midfield without a challenge.

Ref? Not impressed. Carded us for the type of foul they got away with.

PS - the penalty Dobbin wanted was rightly turned down by the ref and the card was also justified. He tried to con the ref and then reacted badly when he didn't get the penalty.

Great win. If we are within touching distance of the play offs as we are now when we get Morris back who knows

This squad is, IMO, roughly 20 players and 300M GBP short of being PL ready. I'm happy to be patient and wait for steady progress.

Always will be in the Championship tho. You take your chances if they come surely and deal with what comes next then?
