  • Owls relegated

with 13 games to go. Earliest relegation in EFL history. Still on minus points.
How us fans can suffer but they'll be back I'm sure.

Wonder if they'll get above 11 points.
Empathy for them, but as you say, they'll be back.

Empathy for the majority of them, not for those of course who chanted about Derby dying at PP and also not for the friend of a friend I know who very much enjoyed taking the piss when we were in dire straits.

You can't legislate for ****s Sith. Most supporters have some sort of brain but some have none. No doubt some of our lot will dish it out to their fans.

Imagine being 'sent down' by your closest rivals. Must be some banter going on in workplaces today.

Inevitable, but still feel for them. Love beating them, but a ‘proper club’ who didn’t deserve this.
Still seem to be different rules for the likes of Derby, Leicester and Wednesday than certain others…Man.City for example.

Citeh. When will the verdict on their 115 charges be handed down? I realise it's 115 offences and there's over half a million documents for them to go through, not helped by there being just 3 on the panel and they're not working full time.

Should the FA have taken maybe half a dozen of the charges to start with and look at those. If guilty on one, then guilty on all similar charges. If not guilty on a selected charge then not guity on all similar ones.

It would have saved time and money and it would have been sorted ages ago. As it is, we keep hearing from any club getting a charge... ah but yes but no but... wotabaht Citeh? It'll take as long as it takes but, surely, it could have been handled differently. Charges handed out in 2023. Time to put it to bed, whatever the result.

My closest football-loving friend is a Wednesday fan and was full of sympathy for our plight back in the dark days, and so me for theirs. I just wish they had the resources to put up more of a scrap, I actually enjoyed our relegation season, we had at least some hope til quite late on, and played some good football on occasion, weds not so

Always liked Wednesday, some great players back in the day. However, I do recall us Derby fans being subject to violence on occasions when at Hillsborough. Mind you was in the sixties but it could be particularly bad there if not up to Millwall level!

Think we got within 4 points of safety at one point but fell away

Preferred seller pulls out as valuation now significantly lower than what was agreed.

Suggestions other bidders are around but the guarantee to pay 25p in the pound on debt may be a sticking point.

They don't agree that then a 15 points deduction likely next season.

If they make it, they appear to be in a similar position now to the one we were in. The preferred bidders were paying ?1 million a month to keep the club afloat.

Im sure fans will feel as we did with kirchener, that the past few months have been wasted time.

As we know once clubs and fans, for whatever reasons, find themselves in this situation then you're in shark infested waters prey to every predator around. We were lucky ultimately that before being devoured Mr Clowes came with his harpoon gun. I hope the Owls aren't devoured!

I haven't seen what the level of debt is or the asking price but, if I had 50M lying around, I'd still be of the opinion that I'd be a twit to woo them.

Rumour floating around that, when The Princess Royal was being intriduced to the Scotland rugby team at the weekend, she commented to one of the players that "her brother used to play with the under 15s"...
