INdeed there is always a chance, but my reverse pyschology is to expect the worst!!Originally posted by Geoff Parkstone View PostIn theory we should be well beaten, but just for once I think we could spring a surprise with a backs to the wall 1-0 win. By 8pm on Friday i will likely deny this

It's a question of balance, Sith has got got us promoted already so I provide the necessary counter effect. It seems to be working lol!!Originally posted by Geoff Parkstone View PostI think if we lived up (down?) to your predictions all season, Mac, Sheffield Wednesday wouldnt be bottom!!

A real shame that
BBD must be really frustrated scoring a brace and still being on the wrong side
All bad goals to concede - first one, maybe O'Donnell should have been better placed, second one total Keystone Kops by three Rams, third one Travis, who still far from convinces me, appeared to lose his man in the box again, I'll reserve judgement til I see a replay
Ah well, on to Monday

Agreed, naff defending coupled with good chances spurned! Against a team that have goals aplenty in their locker you will get punished.Originally posted by ramAnag View PostBetter team won, but only just. But for some poor mistakes at either end that could easily have been a draw. Thought the referee was atrocious.
A lesson learned, the ability to score goals from multiple sources cannot be understated! As Warlock said long ago you need six strikers in this league played in pairs! Get your starting pair to chase and harry the defence in the first half knowing you can bring a fresh pair on at half time who can continue in that vein. This leaves your last pair available if necessary to come on for the last fifteen or twenty minutes to cash in on what is very likely a tired ragged defence (that's what we looked like late on)!
Maybe over the top with six strikers but something similar has worked for Frank's Coventry this season!
