Footballleagueworld are starting off like they did a year ago, posting an article naming 5 players we SHOULD sign. It's all cudda.wudda.shudda from those jokers.

        The 5?
        Bobby Clark
        BBD
        Brian De Keersmaecker
Sebastian Berhalter, 25, 5'9, US international DM with Vancouver Whitecaps. 11 apps this season, 4 goals, 4 assists.
        Shea Lacey

            Latest offerings from The 72...

Stephy Mavididi who has just had an iffy season with the Foxes. 42 League apps, 3 goals, 1 assist. Not what you expect from a winger/striker. No thanks.

Lewis Dobbin. Villa's on loan to PNE man, described by The 72 as a winger, had 41 apps, 11 goals and 8 assists. Good return for a wide man. Villa paid Everton between 9M and 11M for him depending on your source. At 23 he could be a decent signing providing Villa don't want too much for him. There's still 2 years left on his contract so he wouldn't be cheap. Ceratinly 5M, if not more.

Yusuf Akhamrich. 20 year old Spurs winger who's just had a loan spell at Bristol Rovers since January. 19 apps 6 goals and 2 assists. Could he cut it at Champ level?

Dobbin didnt pull up any trees when he was last with us, so hopefully not. Lets get the "bit of a donkey" jests out of the way quickly

Stop horsing around GP. At the time he was a 20 year old kid. He's now 23, 3 years older, wiser and experienced. 11 goals and 8 assists last season in 41 appearances in an average PNE side who finished 14th. Not bad for a winger/midfielder. He's proven he can do it at this level in an average side. Hopefully, we'll be better than that and he will benefit, as would we.

Eustace to Burnley! Sincerely hope that’s just another silly season rumour and nothing more.

Agreed dont want this to happen - but sadly he's 3rd favourite behind Gerard and the Cardiff manager. However Burnley will be in Championship next season and have never been big spenders - but they will have parachute money to attract him maybe and so he could buy Travis, Szmodics, Baath, Weiman, BBD to name a few

But look on the bright side rA - Liam Rosenior is available (and long odds at Burnley) so you could get your long held wishes fulfilled in a roundabout way. So is Lee Carsley if you fancy a Derby reunion.

Ha ha. I like them both, but would prefer to stick with what JE is hopefully building, thanks.

DT article saying we should go after the Ipswich Town playmaker, Conor Chaplin. Out of contract, no new offer. He was on loan to Pompey last season. 2 goals and 3 assists in 40 appearances. Amster says NO.

Turki Al Sheikh? Not a transfer, obviously, but a potential investor…silly season or something in it?
