Appreciate there was a rule change after Leeds spied on us. But still seems a world apart in terms of punishment.

I just don't believe had it been any other club involved and not Boro we wouldn't be seeing anything like this.

Yes. All those involved, either directly or via providing assistance/approval, should, imo, be banned…but I think it’s really harsh on Saints fans, who are blameless…and to provide further perspective, the penalty of 4 points and up to around potentially 200 million pounds(!) because some prat hid (not very well) behind a tree to video a training session, seems excessive to me.
On the plus side, doubt they’ll be doing it again!

P.S. Hypothetically, wonder if disgruntled Saints season ticket holders can now sue the club for all the time and money they’ve wasted supporting their team in a competition they ultimately got kicked out of? Can Wrexham sue because Saints effectively saw them finish one place out of the top six? Oh what a can of worms.

If I was a Southampton fan and had paid train/accommodation then id be considering asking them to recompense me.

Didn?t think much of the Hull City owner threatening legal action if his team lost?but still some sort of poetic justice after the fiasco of the last week. Well done Hull. Seems to be the blessed city at the moment. Wouldn?t be surprised to see Hull KR victorious at Wembley next Saturday.

Well done Tigers, any team that duffs up that lot is ok by me. Good luck next season.
Boro have a record that will most likely stay for ever, lost the semi final then lost the final! Ducking hilarious🥳🖕

Boro's season. Wanted to be Champions, failed. Wanted autimatic promotion, bottled it. Wanted to win the playoff semi final, failed. Reinstated and wanted to win the final, failed.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer club.

The bookies have Hull on odds of 1/4 to get relegated next season. About as nailed on a bet as you can get but not really worth it at those odds. However, if I won Euromillions I'd have a cheeky 4M on it and, if the bet came up, pocket a nice 1M profit. Could lose the 4M as well but if you've just won 100M, a 25% return on a cheeky 4M bet could be your one "silly" spend.
