You may be tad unfair on politicians, there has to be a recognition that if we want democracy rather than the version Russia has or that which Turkey is moving towards, then human being will be politicians and they do the stuff lots of don't want to do, thats at local as well as national level.

An obvious and sensible choice, but there is not a remote chance that she will be, there are too many obstacles in her way and unlike the labour party the Tory's generally don't allow plain speaking odd balls (thats a compliment) to get too much power. However we live in strange times so I guess anything is theoretically possible.

Also the fact that the Tory,s say something is a long way from the rank and file MP's meaning it or even doing it, too many vested interests!
