I share your disillusionment...I too am sick of our incompetent and often crooked politicians. From fiddling expenses to the PM in waiting’s dishonesty and avoidance strategies, but you never make things better by appointing/voting for someone worse.

Now please stop interrupting the cricket and our quest for the manager you should never have got rid of.
Oh you want Billy Davies back?

    I see where you're going.

        Amuse me.
I don't consider any of the numptys on offer suitable as prime minister, but if they elect Boris Johnson then it wont be long before the Tory party goes up in smoke, the guy hasn't a clue, is morally bankrupt, can't even lie properly though he does all the time and is only interest is self interest.

There may be a lot of angry people out there, but they are barking up the wrong tree, still suckers will always be suckers I guess!

You didn't answer the question Swale, that's a dodge job.

I nailed my colours to a mast, as I don't like the main stream parties anymore.
          So again, I'll say it.
You're very quick to slaughter certain MP's and individual posters.
So who would you vote for that matches your opinion?

Or are you telling me you wouldn't vote, which makes your POV irrelevant?

I’ve got better things to do tbh, but off the top of my head...apparently I’m tearing the country apart, ruining the country, bumbling, boring, an easy target, and embarrassing. Actually the last two might have been about Swale...I can’t remember and have no intention of checking.
Regarding Jo Brand it was something like...’should be arrested for giving pig ugly a bad name’.

Will that do seeing as you asked for examples?

Oh and apparently I’m ‘precious’ which, coming from someone whose avatar looks like Gollum posing with his big white BMW(?) I decided was just vaguely ironic.

Have a look at the thread and, Tricky and Swale’s ongoing war of words apart, it was all quite civil, constructive even, without you.
            Vitriolic.. PMSL.
The Swaley this was what I was digging at but you threw yourself in.. You should have just stayed away but you chose not to.

As for the avatar, my old mucker Roger did that for me. I would feel lost without it.

            • You’ve done it again haven’t you?

About thirty on topic posts on the thread since you last appeared and then suddenly you’re back...making it all about you again.

OK...to be clear...maybe ‘vitriolic’ was too strong, perhaps ‘snide’ would have been more appropriate. Happy now?

I don’t object to your avatar in the slightest...the reference was simply a reference to the image looking like Tolkien’s character of Gollum and you banging on about me being ‘precious’.

My initial comment quoted your post, in which you were doing exactly the same as you accuse me of by butting in between Tricky and Swale, but was aimed at all those who can’t discuss this issue without it becoming personal.

Posters like MoP and Adi are poles apart from me as far as Brexit is concerned and yet I can’t remember us exchanging a cross word.
Similarly, regular posters like ‘Amster, GP, mista and Andy all have their different takes on the situation but manage to remain civil.

That was the point of my post...it was a request for people to actually say why they thought what they thought - something you still haven’t done - rather than just chip away at each other. If you want to do that it’ll probably be helpful...if you just want to keep making personal attacks on me and anyone remotely left of centre it’s just a waste of everyone’s time, especially yours and mine.

              • The scenario plays out ike this.........

                1. BoJo wins the Tory leadership election and becomes PM
                2. He gets some kind of trade deal clauses added to the May "deal"
                3. Puts it before Parliament and it gets defeated
                4. The government loses a no confidence vote
                5. BoJo calls a General Election and loses it putting somebody else in possession of the poisoned chalice
                6. The UK remains in the EU

                  8. Dianne Abbot becomes the new PM
                  9. The last person out actually does turn the lights off

Okay...if it makes you feel better, that’s your take.
Life’s too short and as I’ve said...if you have nothing to add to the actual discussion I have no interest in your ‘views’.

Well seeing as the one you think is electable is the only one who hasn't managed it other than in the Eu elections where people don't mind sacrificing a vote as they think its doesn't matter your judgement seems to be rather awary.

Its also bafflng that your happy to vote for someone who is clearly not what he pretends to be, is a stooge paid for by people who do not have the interests of anyone whose net worth is less than several million in mind and I'm assuming your net worth isn't that so why would you vote for someone like that?

Come on Swale, get off the fence. You hate Farage, I get that.
But who is your champion to lead us to victory?

C'mon you can say it. We all know really. But I'd like you to tell me why.

That was with the media driven stigma that went with UKIP. Wrongly attached labels such as racist etc. The Brexit party might be a completely proposition. At least Remainers have a clear party to attach themselves now, who do leavers go with? Who knows what Labours position is bar just changing to whatever todays public opinion is. The Torys? That is not a leave party. Two buffons bumbling on promising supposed deals? Nah, not for me either.
'If' there is another general election and I think there will have to be if nothing is achieved by October and that is difficult to see. IF Fararge can get enough people to sit for election, then I am not so sure they will not cause a major shift in UK politics.
Your last paragraph could be labelled against most politicians. So not sure of the point. Like it or not, Farage has huge support now.
Unfortunately UK politics is about choosing the best or the worst.
