All of Footymad has been dying for years.
However, it is more a trait, of how bad our teams are that no one is interested. Youngsters in particular have no interest in this type of forum. It's old hat and offers very old tech experiance.

As for "our" spat. Only one here who behaves like a total nut job and he hooks himself because of it.

As distinct from you who is a genuine nutjob, peddling *******s on what is a football forum. But the fact that others take your seriously or acknowledge your existence says a lot about them.

I hear he was described as a ‘venomous, self serving, sly schemer’. Suspect it to be wholly accurate. I’d also add ineffectual, dishonest and dangerously ignorant...imo.
I just wonder what he has on successive Tory leaders to have been made Chief Whip, Defence Secretary and now Education Secretary. He personifies everything I hate about modern politicians.

Take a look at the other moribund forums on here the only thing stirring is the tumble weed! DerbyMad has been in slow decline for years and its demise can't be that far off, it will be dead before the rams get to the prem in any case.

I’m quite likely to agree with you, politically, more than most, but most others, especially mac and MA, are intelligently open minded at least.
People do get pissed off when personal insults start to fly and it does turn people off...you’ve only got to look at the comments from others when sparks start to fly.
Sure you’re right that forums like this will soon disappear altogether...maybe we should run a book on which comes first...1. Derby in the top flight...2. Derby in League 2...3. A Labour Government elected...4. The Ram Inn ceases to exist.
My order would be 4, 3, 1...and 2 won’t happen.

P.S. I forgot 5. The electorate belatedly cotton on to the fact that Brexit was based on a pack of lies, has nothing going for it whatsoever and that it’s impact is currently disguised by all the implications of the Covid pandemic. Suspect that’s probably the next ‘biggy’.

I think maybe you’ve misunderstood me. I’m not attacking you (or anyone) and it’s not up to me. I’m merely agreeing with MA and disagreeing with Swale as regards the impact of personal ‘spats’ and the latter’s identification of those who make up the forum.

Lol...oh I notice alright. I even seem to have simultaneously managed to draw the ire of my supposed left wing ‘ally’ and the forum mod for, on the one hand being politically unobservant, and on the other too politically critical.

Reckon I could list all the regulars on here from you and I (generally left of centre) to our two extreme right wing visitors in terms of political positioning, but it wouldn’t achieve very much and ultimately...with the exception of those who are overtly racist, prejudiced and bigoted...the future has to involve compromise not confrontation.
