Drawing attention is fine, throwing down the 'Hitler Card' is not. Its a shock tactic of Swales', just like swearing, insulting people etc

Give me an example, not sure what you mean, seriously. I don't comment on everything here

No idea why he'sjealous, but also not sure why they are odd, other than in the fact I try add a bit of context to some of my posts by referencing those I've come across in a long and varied life. Please tell me which one of these is 'odd'. I'll have as lengthy a debate as you wish on each. I have a Scottish partner, that's often relevant in football and non-football matters. I was schooled in a mixed race school and live in a mixed race environment. I've employed and worked directly with, in a Chinese-run Company, a Uyghur. I have close friends who's son is (was, he's just taken a job role that's not so clear) an assistant private secretary to two ministers you've slated over the years (actually, thinking about it, one you haven't, Alok Sharma) and who I see regularly, in fact I was helping him fit out a camper van on Sunday. I repeat, tell me what's odd about that. I don't know any head teachers, governors etc but wouldn't think it 'odd' if you brought them into the conversation for context or anecdote
Oh pleeze!! You really are the king of the bull ****ters, a closet xenophobe and a poor desperate lying toe rag trying to look cool. One would have to be both extremely naïve and lacking in judgement to believe what you post, what a sad lad you are!

As i keep telling you stop digging when you in a hole, your just making yourself look a bigger liar and even more stupid!!

You must be a little forgetful as well, (perhaps early onset dementia?) not for the first time, its very easy to catch you out being inconsistent and denying making a comment in a post, when in point of fact rA actually detailed to you a few posts back just what you had actually posted and in which posts and now your denying it.

As for "throwing down the Hitler card", actually I explained in quite some detail what I meant and provided examples to back that up - rA seemed to understand it, you on the other hand, keep saying this its a "shock tactic" and don't engage with the evidence in anyway, but then thats a familiar tactic. tell me why are you so concerned about the proportion of people in the media from an ethnic minority background? I haven't had an answer yet, wonder why that is? because it will show you in a less than favourable light?

Damn I must write and tell those other academics, political commentators and (reputable) journalists that the great Mr Faber is of the opinion the Hitler parallell is the last refuge of those with no argument. Oh no wait a minute, the response would be who???

Oh dear, as I keep telling you, probably better to keep quiet, then you won't look quite so foolish!

You brought the subject up initially...no one else. Sure Swale has referenced back to it but you brought it up in the first place.

Says who? It’s nothing like swearing or insulting people. It’s a valid comparison.

Swale has provided lots of examples comparing current right wing strategy with that of 80-90 years ago. Attitudes to the freedom to protest, trade unions and immigrants to name but three They’re all horribly valid comparisons but you notably never comment on them.

Calm down. I doubt very much that he is ‘jealous’. You used the word ‘odd’ in your post...I was just running with it.

‘Swales’ butler’ lol. You’re right...not just you...TTR and GP too. It’s funny...I invariably agree with MA and mac too but no one ever makes the same accusation. You regularly agree with GP...are you his butler/rear gunner too?

As we've left the EU, can we now spell her name Sonya, instead of the silly Spanish way?

Only if we can start calling you Sr. Vastago de carnero 72. Sounds much grander.

                    • Debates may not have lasted long!

The house recognises Mr Swale.... cue scraping of chairs and shouts of "Howay, the bar's awpen lads" and "Mine's a pint of Broon"

Be just him and a lonely Lancastrian lad from another Uni sat at the back, applauding and shouting "I agree completely".....

...and there you go again. Another fine impression of ‘I was Kaiser Andy’s batman’.

Go on then, I’ll bite...I think the ministers I’ve ‘slated’ most over the years have been Patel, Raab, Gove and Williamson. Am I getting warm?

No, a minor-league object of your disdain (in fact I probably think less of him than you), or chancellor Mr Nadhim Zahawi. He was Sharmas gofer during cop 26 and has nothing but praise for him, but in general he says they seem to be running the ‘Thick Of It’ playbook

Aye but portrayed with a little poignancy reflecting this students preference for beer over politics, as previously noted

Ah, so, contrary to your opening suggestion, neither of them have been objects of my disdain. Never ever mentioned Sharma and doubt I’ve mentioned Zahawi. They’re not the worst...but then, when you’ve scraped the barrel...
