To be clear...I couldn’t give a stuff about what he says about your ‘holiday home’ or your activities in Thailand. Perhaps the attraction is the climate...the landscape...the beaches...the availability of cheap s exual servility...or the food. Maybe a combination of all five or something else altogether...I wouldn’t know. It’s just banter and the type of banter that all single men who disappear off to a place with Thailand’s reputation probably experience.

I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned your Thai activities, but the point is...Swale said little to enrage you...he just laughed at your suggestion about ‘Reform’ and you, aided and abetted by our moderator, suddenly chucked your toys out of the prom.
Likewise, as soon as I mention anything you rush to identify me as Swale’s ‘rear gunner’. It’s ludicrous and yet when Andy does exactly the same in your defence nothing is ever said. Funny that!

Suggest you look back at recent exchanges on the subject and try and tell me I’m wrong. Then maybe...lighten up a little. It’s Christmas.
You're wrong. Happy Christmas. Maybe Swale's Christmas spirit went down his throat too fast, some of his vitriol vs Tricky was a tad unnecessary: although IMHO the possibility of Reform becoming the official opposition is as alarming as it is remote.

Often am...but in what way this time? Honestly...I suggest you look at post #8443 and what led up to it before reaching that conclusion and attributing ‘vitriol’ to specific posters.
Anyway...nowt to do with us for once so...glad we agree (again!) about ‘Reform’ and Happy Christmas to you too.

      • Shame no one appreciated my reference to Liam Brady as being the GOAT as his namesake is the NFL GOAT

Ah well, I supppse referencing Ian Brady as the greatest psycho killer of all time might be misplaced too?

          .
Because there’s balance in my treatment of TTR. Example, my last comment aimed at TTR was something along the lines of ‘I think you just took a **** with your pants on there’. Hardly an endorsement

I genuinely find your blinkered defence of Swale bizarre

Thicky is a complete ****, thats all there is to say. He has consistently posted utter crap on here, if he stuck to football, he'd be fine, but his repeating of rubbish he has gleaned from dodgy internet sources is tiresome, hence why he is on ignore.

I do find it funny that it irks him that I have him on ignore, such that he vents his spleen and rages in posts calling me a liar in several posts.

Then the friendly Mod joins in apparently unaware as to how ignore works on this Forum, which is also quite funny. One has the option to view a post if one chooses, one i rarely do, but every now and then if its a slow day I choose to view.

Anybody who quotes from the daily express as a news source has zero credibility!

Thicky posts nothing but rubbish on here. Quite how me referring to his Thai trips, is insulting a whole nation is weird, mind you being accused of insulting a whole nation from someone who does that on a regular basis is quite amusing.

I got it but the last time we indulged in NFL talk we got told off so I left it

My ‘blinkered defence of Swale’...what are you talking about? It’s not about ‘defending’ Swale, who doesn’t need it anyway...if anything it’s about identifying your hypocrisy and that of your two amigos.
I mean, you’re meant to be a moderator...the job involves being able to mediate and arbitrate...not take sides and sh1t stir.
Ramondo understood that...Bloomer understood that...Rats not so much. You were like a breath of fresh air when you first arrived but how things have changed.

‘There’s balance in my treatment of TTR’. Absolute delusional nonsense...I’m only surprised that you didn’t spend the World Cup counting the over subscription of black players in the English squad as you appear to do with ethnic minorities in the media, and if you think GP’s sick reference to Ian Brady earlier this evening is acceptable then we clearly have very different ideas of your role as a moderator.

If you’re going to take a swipe get your facts right, my comment was in response to GP’s earlier comment about LIAM Brady, relating him to the original GOAT TOM Brady, it’s suggested the phrase was first used about him, an NFL quarterback.

                      • More than three-quarters of firms say the government’s post-Brexit trade deal with the EU has not helped them to expand their business in the last two years despite promises that it was an “oven-ready” deal.

A survey by the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) has prompted the business lobby group to present the government with five urgent recommendations for enhancing the agreement, which has left many exporters struggling to sell into the EU under the current terms.

More than half (56%) of the BCC members surveyed who trade with the EU said they had experienced problems complying with new rules for exporting goods, while 45% reported issues trading in services. Overall, as many as 77% of firms trading under the deal said it had not helped them to increase sales or expand.

The ‘swipe’ as you tiresomely put it, had nothing to do with the NFL quarterback who I have no knowledge of or interest in.
It was a reference to your apparent inability to understand the role of moderator.
You regularly vilify Swale, and yes sometimes he brings it on himself, while Tricky’s foul mouthed rant goes completely uncommented upon, and you allow probably the weeks most tasteless remark - about Ian Brady at a time when the most recent search of Saddleworth Moor had just been undertaken - to also go unchecked.
The chance of me offering an apology in such circumstances is about the same as you being able to offer any balance whatsoever. Remote!
