Next Season Squad: Midfield

Now it gets a bit real.

Our two possible biggest prospects from last season (Clark, Ozoh) weren't 'ours' and we may never see them again. And if we get one, IMO it will be Ozoh who, to use the current phrase, is 'made of glass'. We have some promising fellahs (Fraulo, Thompson) but Oscar is too lightweight/inexperienced to run things on his own and Tompson has only achieved showing us his level which isn't high enough IMO. Eames may surprise us but isn't ready for a full season. And the most nailed-on member of any Rams team while JE is in charge (Travis) was last season's biggest disappointment. Again purely IMO this is our most critical area for attention

Want: New Enforcer, Ozoh, Clark
Expect: Travis, Fraulo, Ozoh or Clark
In reserve: Thompson, Eames, poss a redeployed Ward?

Will we find the right mix? to quote the iconic Mavis Riley, I don't rightly know

Thompson may go. Im really hoping we get one of Ozoh or Clark.

Im in the Travis was ok camp. Think he improved and should be an asset.

I’m in the Travis was our biggest disappointment ‘camp’. He did improve at times and unfortunately has become a bit of a whipping boy for some but, on the evidence of last season, is likely to miss 20% of the season anyway.
I like Thommo but he’s one for the bench or a L1 move imo. Fraulo still has much to prove but he’s young.
High hopes for Eames but, imo, midfield is, again, the area which most needs major strengthening.

Attempt number 6. Windows update this morning and I keep getting the black screen of death...

We'll have Trav, hopefully, the Trav from his Blackburn days, not the one we saw last season.

Clark. Convinced he'll be back by the social media posts of half a dozen Rams players at the end of the season plus his buying of a right hand drive Merc G-Wagon a few weeks back.

Ozoh is trying to make the Palace sqaud. If he doesn't, he'll be back.
Allen has been offered a lower wage. His agent will be touting the lad around looking for a better offer. If one isn't forthcoming, he'll stay.
Tommo. Strong rumours he's off to Mansfield.

Will we see the return of Hughesy? If he doesn't return to the flock now, he never will.
