errrmmmm.....not so sure about that.Originally posted by ramAnag View PostNot actually true. Sure we all have our opinions and biases, even make mistakes, but we don’t all regularly try to pass off bigoted nonsense as fact.
After all someone has suddenly escalated the "garbage as if it is gospel" to "bigoted nonsense as fact". Your change of accusation seems itself to be bigoted!!. Saying Forest are a great team may be garbage but not bigoted nonsense.
But I may excuse Mac under threat of violence

Careful, you made yourself look really silly the last time you made what you thought was a "clever" comment!Originally posted by Andy_Faber View Postwhich is an ironically accurate comment from this forum's vessel who makes the joint most noise in terms of word count
Especially as I think you will find your wrong, a certain poster far exceeds me for lengthy posts and whereas mine tend to be based on reason and verifiable facts even if shaped by my own views, the other guy's are based on conspiracy theories, and the ravings of right wing fantasists on the internet.
Given you have shown a tendency to favour anecdotal "evidence" to support your views, I'd say your judgement on this one is flawed.

‘Someone’? You mean me. Is that an ‘escalation’? In my opinion…no.Originally posted by Geoff Parkstone View Posterrrmmmm.....not so sure about that.

I’m talking about people using deliberate falsehoods to back up their case which has become a strategy since the Referendum campaign, imo.
There are plenty of examples including a very recent one, but if you choose to overlook them and attribute the same behaviour to all forum members, that’s up to you. I just disagree.

TTR shows his face for a couple of days and it's like an old fashioned western bar brawl in here.
I feel like one of those in the movies picking his glass up off the bar as someone gets slung down it, while TTR has stirred the pot, had his whisky and calmly rode off on his stallion called Nigel.

Fair enough, I didn't expect otherwise. I just think that it's equally bigoted to be bigoted towards bigots. Which you are.Originally posted by ramAnag View Post‘Someone’? You mean me. Is that an ‘escalation’? In my opinion…no.

The fact that you find that acceptable speaks volumes. To call someone else's opinion either deliberate falsehood, bigoted nonsense or garbage is simply the resort of a scoundrel. It's opinion, just because yours differs does not make contrary views into falsehoods, garbage or nonsense. To do so demonstrates you own extreme bigotry.
