Typical of someone who spends too much time reading the woke handbook rather than talking to real people. I know you hate my anecdotes (part of the reason I share them) but I was talking to two female (in fact married) HMG ‘policing’ professionals (not police and not in England but close enough) on Monday who agree totally with my POV and confirm that the MORE enlightened of their colleagues accept that there’s a moment when males must step up and females shouldn’t and it’s the LESS enlightened that ‘work to rule’ regarding equality. But that’s just the real world Swale so I wouldn’t expect you to understand.

The BBC must have checked because they identified the officers as such. Strange how they didn’t identify the other officers as male, some drop a ******* of the PC (no pun intended) checklist there?

You see, as GP intimated, one can try so hard to be ‘right on’ with this stuff that one ends up looking a bit daft

Still its good to see Thicky demonstrating the depth of his misogynism with his "pathetic women police officers" comment, merely confirms that he is a very sad and rather nasty individual as previously stated.
Oh be quiet you clown. My mysogynsitic comment as you call it, was all about that women shouldn't have been there for that in the first place. They got their butts handed to them on a plate. They didn't react, respond, or attempt to defend themselves. Like using a 9 iron, to drive off the tee.
But woke clowns like you, would sooner see the officers and general public put in danger to satisfy these stupid measures.
That's being realistic not sad, or perhaps you are one of them cheering at Imane Khelif, knocking 10 bells out of that poor Italian woman as well? Arouse you does it?

          NO THEY AINT!!!!

I've seen it first hand. The women in prisons are out their depth as well. Most of them get deployed onto paper shuffling duties, as they get bullied and cohearsed into doing bad things, Even screwing them.
Best you butt out this one, you know **** all about it.

            • 18 months ago, my parents(in their 80's ) were having their house broken into, whilst they were sleeping.
They were nearly through the second door, when mum heard the glass going and she screamed and rang 999

The cops to be very fair to them were there in 4 mins.
I got a call to come, so had to drive all the way back to my home town.

The cop in charge, was about 35, big lad and very knowledgable.
His side kick was female, 18 years old and 4ft 11?
She didn't even look 18, more like 15

Now I couldn't help but think, that had he caught up with them, what exactly was she going to do? They didn't even have tasers.
Now call me old fashioned, but a bloke of average build would have ragged dolled her around like a kids toy,
As said, the prisoners found women officers a joke and ignored them at best.

The two women cops in the airport may as well have been facing 2 pit bulls, they didn't even see it coming.

Give the cops sidearms and the gender issue becomes irrelevant.

I axtually am not in favour of that. It will only cause more criminals to arm themselves.
But I expect a copper to be able to scrap an opponant and deploy the taser/pepper/baton if needed.

You do know the meaning of ‘pathetic’ don’t you? It means…pitiful…so with absolutely no knowledge whatsoever of these women’s level of ability you have written them off as ‘pitiful’ while, as ever, abusing anyone who disagrees with you. That, TTR, is ‘pathetic’.

Moving on from your idiocy and rudeness. Coincidentally, for the first time ever on the ferry over to Dieppe a week ago I saw something I’ve never seen before…the presence of heavily armed members of the ‘Gendarme Maritime’ throughout the crossing. Five of them, all carrying holstered hand guns in addition to what I took to be semi automatic weapons. Didn’t know whether to be alarmed or reassured, but came down on the side of the latter given the potential terrorist threat as we sailed on the opening day of the Paris Olympics.

As a matter of fact…one of the five was a giant of a man…the other four all smaller than me. Doubt whether it would have made any difference and I’d have been just as reassured if any of the five had been women, but the question RS poses is one I fear we are all going to have to face up to in the not so distant future…been the case in Spain for ages and I’ve never felt intimidated, but then I’m unlikely to set out to harm anyone.

                        • TTR, although there are no legal height requirements to become a police officer in the UK, most forces won't even look at you if you're male and under 5 foot 7 or female and under 5 foot 4. I presume your 4 foot 11 comment is a colloquialism.

Khalifa. From what I've read, and it's possible I haven't seen all relevant facts, it appears that she was born with a vagina, a uterus, a womb, has periods and can have children. She is female, not trans, fully transitioned or simply self identified. She's not even Hermaphrodite, an issue that saw Caster Semanya barred from running 400m, 800m and 1500m unless she underwent hormione treatment. It seems that the only time there has been any doubt was when the IBA, halfway through a tournament, decided she had too much testosterone in her body to meet their criteria for what constitutes a woman. The IBA is not a body the IOC recognises which is why she has been allowed to take part in the Olympics. One Irish boxer is on record as saying that she and 8 others have beaten Khalifa in the ring so she's certainly not all conquering.

If you can find any reliable sources that conclusively prove she ever had "dangly bits" I'd love to see them.

Funny you should mention Spain rA, and I can’t explain this, but I have far more confidence in any given Spanish ‘policeman’ (be it Policia Local or Guardian Civil) than I do in the equiv in the U.K., when I see one in day to day mooching around. also to contrast, I doubt a day went by when I didn’t see a Spanish foot patrol of some sort, the last one I saw in U.K. was before I moved house over two years ago
