I rarely mention the Tories.Originally posted by Andy_Faber View PostWasnt intended as a dig Sith, sorry if it came over as such. The POTUS transgression? I think transgressions is too mild a word to cover how hideous his actions have been of late.
Reform, its born out of frustration that their transgressions barely get a word in the media yet as I said the media are all over anything starmer/labour. Appreciate they are thr government so thats one reason, but as we keep getting told Reform could be our next government so feel they should be held to similar standards. That Starmer appointed Mandelson who had a questionable relationship with Epstein does confuse me to be honest, and rightly so its understandable scrutiny. But that Farage appointed and haf close relationship with a Russian spy barely makes the headlines is astonishing, and every other one that goes under the radar.

Hearing noises that, although Mandelson went through the usual screening process, je actually failed it yet still got appointed. If that's true then the PM has some serious explaining to do.
I want a new Law passing that demands that the PM, at PMQs, HAS to answer the question asked rather than going off on a tangent and not answering the question.

Competition time!
Who said, just 16 months ago in December 2024, ‘I might disagree with Mandelson on his politics, but he’s a very intelligent man and would be a good choice for ambassador’?
Was it a) Swale b) Me c) Keir Starmer d) Andy e) Trump or f) ‘Fibby’ Farage?
Perhaps one of the above, whoever it was, should consider their position.Last edited by ramAnag; 17-04-2026, 11:47 AM.

On PMQs why is this suddenly making headlines? Its not like its something new. Just another example of Starmer coming under more scrutiny than any PM i cam remember.Originally posted by MadAmster View PostHearing noises that, although Mandelson went through the usual screening process, je actually failed it yet still got appointed. Part of me hopes Farage gets in because he will be hopeless at PMQs, if we think Starmer avoids answers it will be nothing compared with him. I guess he can just shout Bernard Manning in response to everything.

Name a UK PM that didn't fail to answer the majority of questions asked at PMQs. I'll wait, I'm patient.Originally posted by SithHappens View PostOn PMQs why is this suddenly making headlines? Lovely couple! I think the stocks were last used for punishment and public humiliation about 150 years ago. Cases like this, and a few other recent ones like that ‘undertaker’ in Hull and the Sycamore Gap vandals, make me think they should be brought back.Originally posted by SithHappens View PostWell at least we know who will fill the Lucy Connolly slot at this year's Reform party conference

Last used then yes but they havent be legally abolished, so why not bring them back. All three seem good candidates. Sadly the pillory has been abolished yet the word pilloried is still used, whereas Ive never heard of anyone being "stocked by the press".Originally posted by ramAnag View PostLovely couple! So perhaps sell tickets and livestream online to raise funds for the victims. Sell ticketholder rotting fruit and veg, faeces or Forest season tickets to raise further funds for the victims. Yep, we can monetise it for good purpose (although not much money for the season tickets)
