The latest Wallace & Grommett. At last a good reason to bother getting out of bed on 25-12 ☺️

Coincidentally I watched the original Pretty Woman last night and although it?s way outside my usual taste I still enjoyed it in a harmless fun sort of way

Watched Deadpool & Wolverine over Xmas. Slightly amusing urine extraction of the genre and exactly the sort of "no need to think" film required to accompany the next glass of bubbles/wine/beer.

I thought it a bit Meh. The whole marvel universe stuff is really starting to bore me now.

Thanks for your recommendations on this thread Sith, not all hits for me and Mrs F obviously but some real goodies. Better than taking Mark Kermode's picks that's for sure

That's ok, be boring if we all liked the same stuff.

Quite fancy the Robbie Williams film coming out, called Better Man, based on his life but with him as a Chimpanzee.

              One for the new year

                Greedy People.

A solid 7/10. Film about 2 cops who take some money from a crime scene. Almost like 2 different movies without giving too much away but goes from comedy to really quite dark.

Mike and Dave need wedding dates.

Somehow missed this when it came out in 2016.

Very very very funny film. Totally recommend it.

I'm going to retaliate with some 'box sets', probably going deeper than most are capable of (thanks to an obsession with recording to tape back in the day), currently working through 'Dexter' and going right back to series 1 episode 1 from 2007, full of strong characters. I intend to work through all spin-offs / sequels progressively in the next few months

Also watched 'The Listeners' over the past two eves, described by Mrs F as 'wierd', but everything's relative, she wasn't at home late 2023 when I watched 'Sasquatch Sunset', tuly bizarre

I like s bit of a binge watch on TV shows I've missed too.

Dexter is on my to do list. Did Breaking Bad in lockdown, followed it up with Better call saul. Time very well spent.

Ozark is well worth a watch too..

Did Ozark during lockdown and beyond too. A great series but with a deeply annoying ending that left me questioning why I'd taken it all the way

Absolutely compelling series 1, dropped away series 2 and 3

Try 'Your Hono(u)r', same profile to my mind, epic series 1, so-so series 2

Your honor was very good. As you say season 1 was better. It could really have ended there IMO. Bryan Cranston is very good. Soon to be appearing in the Malcom in the middle comeback.

You is excellent too for anyone who likes to pick up a show already a few seasons old.

I'm also watching Orphan Black, nearly done season 4 but enjoying it a lot.

I watched all 4 seasons of For All Mankind last year. Loved season 1 and 2 but has gone downhill a bit later.
