Not a movie i saw this year, one from last year...It Ends With Us. A film about domestic violence and now the stars are abusing each other in public.

It's looking a bit like another depp/heard situation. Going to go on and on.

Who knows who will come out on top.

Shame really as the film was quite good, although not close to the book. It's a book that's probably classed as a woman's book but I read it and was in tears at times. Recommend to my wife and she was the same.

Last nights binge watch was 'The Castaways' which starred Sheridan Smith and Aussie actor Brendan Cowell who seems to pop up in a lot of stuff at the mo, sort of believable, and featuring the fattest model crocodile ever seen on film

...all of which led me to wake up this morning and realise that, unforgivebly, I'd forgotten I'd been invited to a 'premiere' (well, first night screening, on IMAX) of 'Becoming Led Zeppelin' last night and missed it, breaking my run of seeing every Led Zep film (Song Remains The Same, DVD, Celebration Day) on the first night of UK showing. I've blagged a pair of tix for a (non-IMAX) showing tomorrow eve and will report when watched

Borderline with Samara Weaving. Really didn't know if was my cup of tea but thoroughly enjoyed it. Very funny at times, disturbing at others.

Thanks for the recommendation, I was ten minutes into Borderline when I realised it wasn't the same film you watched... I'll note this one for when its on more general release

If you're thinking of taking the kids / grandkids (or even renting it yourself for some light viewing) to see Mufasa, the new Lion King movie, don't bother. It's one of the worst things I ever seen, very week plot, the voices don't sync to the animation so it looks like a cheap foreign voiceover, and the songs will make you want to pull your eyelids out they're so terrible.

I?ll take your advice, just one question, do you listen through your eyes down your way? Such an action would be as useful as cutting your ears off in frustration at Warneball

Mufasa doesn't appeal, neither does the new Snow White, which has awful reviews.

                          • Finally gave in to the hype and watched Adolescence. Not a movie but fantastic TV. Thoroughly deserves the hype it's had. Left me feeling very emotional.

If you haven't watched it, do.

I haven't heard a bad review of it yet. Think I'll have to plan it in so I can watch a bit of comedy afterwards mind.

Excellent isn’t it, and very moving?
Not seen anything with Stephen Graham in that isn’t good, tbh.
If you haven’t watched ‘This is England’, both the original and the subsequent mini series give it a go.
