Glencoe, superb, even if the weather is iffy its a grand area, get out to Ardnamurchan if you can. Wonderful place out on a limb but love the Western Highlands. I was in the North and then Orkney over the summer.

Anything to disguise the taste of the sprout then basically. Agree. Sorry, Sith. Devil’s work!

Must be UK brussels (none of this foreign rubbish), preferably nearer December onwards and (what we miss out on with the current climate) after they've been whacked with a couple of good frosts!
Leftovers, mix the brussels and other veg with mashed tatties, salt and pepper fry until golden brown on both sides!
                          Get some in!

After a couple of frosts, they are much tastier, indeed mac. I boil them for 20 minutes along with potatoes and a stock cube, maybe 2. Mash the potatoes and sprouts, adding butter, sage, thyme, oregano and garlic. Then add some grated, mature cheese. Serve with sausage or a burger. Gravy of your choice to finish it off. I use the left over water from boiling the potatoes and sprouts, add some fried, finely chopped onion and thicken to serve.
