Is anyone interested in this unnecessary and meaningless competition created to massage the ego of FIFA's chief?

No it's a waste of time. Got clubs playing that would struggle at championship level.

      Apparently tickets not selling well.

The Uk clubs at least will be moaning when they have played too many games.

Also see because we are awarding European places now for mid table finishes that some clubs have got to play off to get in the league cup.

Completely agree. There’s a reason for having a football season and this is just one more thing that makes big clubs being opposed to cup replays look ridiculous.

Then look at Man Utd, they did a pointless post season tour of Malaysia, but would be first to complain about fixture congestion.

"Pointless" in terms of results maybe but no doubt raised millions in sales of last seasons remaindered shirts etc amongst their local fans. C Sadly a resource we cannot exploit

To me, it's a complete irrelevance.

                          Cloggies v 3 Lions on Wednesday, indeed. A game I can't lose.
