Anyone got any hope after saturday?

  • #2
    Bob? Johanna? No?

If we want to stay out of the bottom 3, we'll need to win as the Blades and Blackburn play each other...

I'll be at PP. Keep an eye out for the Amsterdam Rams flag on the perimeter fence just South of halfway.

Norwich are as bad as us so I'm going for home advantage giving us a 1-0, Salvesen in the 97th minute.

Unfortunately MA, Norwich are dreadful at home but not too shabby away.
Doesn’t bode well, but there’s got to be a reaction to that shambles we saw on Saturday hasn’t there? Or is that just another straw I’m clutching at?
Due to circumstances, my first visit to PP since the Bristol match…an early goal and a rare lead would be more than welcome. 2-1, he said with zero confidence or reasoning. It’s the hope that gets you.

P.S. From the look of things an umbrella might be more use than your flag!

If they are as bad as us at least it should make for a laugh!
I can't believe they could be, mind you they might be completely bemused by Eusless's tactics and concede a goal while they roll over in fits of laughter.
Even then they will still win by two clear goals!

I don't think we have a chance in hell. But maybe that'll suit and they'll come out and prove us wrong.
            3-1 Derby.
This padded cell is awfully comfortable.

I’ll pm you. Otherwise GP might stalk me! Mind you, he’d have to find Derby first.

P.S. Ah…it seems we can’t do that anymore. West Stand lower tier to the south side of the dugouts.

Sky for me today. Full of a rotten cold. Had a nightmare start to season with attendance, only been twice so far.

Still, turned up more often than the players lol

You may laugh Sith but your last sentence is painfully accurate!

Same old same old after 25 - no possession no chances created and no ****ing hope. There must be an old episode of Only Fools and Horses on that I've only seen 8 times in my life Somewhat less than I've seen this sort of performance in under 3 months.

A lesson from history - twice I can remember the tide turning with the introduction of a great defender - Stimac as we ran up the league and West as we made a great escape. Langas has the same potential, what a difference he (and the change in formation) made to the team.

Couldn’t agree more. Absolute chalk and cheese in terms of first and second half performances. Langas made a huge difference - as did the change of shape which his introduction made possible - and if fit (please!!) should start as captain on Saturday, imo. Natural leader and great example.
Might have been out of it by half time as we looked completely hopeless, but equally could have been 3-0 up by the time Norwich hit the inside of the post.
Huge relief, not least for JE who, from about 15 metres away, looked like a man on the edge last night. Still at least he cares and I reckon he was as relieved as any fan at the final whistle.

I think MA will be the most relieved as his run of overseeing bad results for us ended - although not necessarily bad performances
