When you promise one thing at an AGM and then do the exact opposite,,,,all trust is lost.

If there isn't a practical way of delivering a promise then perhaps the way that the promise was to be delivered, should have been discussed?
I tend to agree with Islay that, immediately, the membership should have been informed of the decision , by DFC, to describe the nomination as "a hostile act".
No doubt there were other views, perhaps one of them being that such an action would make it even more difficult to build a working relationship between DFC Board and Dee4life.
