STV and BBC Scotland look as though they are heading for big changes, driven by budget cuts.
Sky are looking to take over the ITV network

MSM tries to be seen as factual and honest, so it needs to be supervised. GBNews does what it says on the tin and you know you are being fed a particular viewpoint.
Bit like Fox being Trump supporter and CNN being Biden supporter.
GB News are privately funded and can broadcast whatever the **** they want the BBC are state funded and meant to be impartial, which they clearly aren't. Remove the TV license money and let them spurt all the left wing *******s they want just don't ask the tax payer to pay for it.

How much money does the BBC get from the state?

The BBC isn't actually state funded but is funded by license payers. They don't answer to government but they really should answer to the license fee payers and should be completely neutral or at least present a balance of views rather than leaning as far left as they do.

They get close on 4 billion from the TV tax and make around 1.3 billion or so from commercial activities.

But if people stop paying the tax it becomes defunct overnight.

Well said. Don't know why there is no scientific evidence to show that Net Zero is a corrupt process that only harms our economic prospects.

I couldn't quote exact figures but I'm guessing there will be some sort of accounts available online for the BBC. Don't you have access to Google somehow?

If you don?t know the exact figure just an estimate will do.

Yes, you can get their accounts online. They are a lot of mumbo jumbo and I think it unlikely that anyone there really understands what is going on. Pension arrangements were about ?900m of an adjustment, and I don't think their turnover of ?3bn in licence fees and ?2.8bn in selling programmes giving a total of about ?6bn, is good enough. Sky is about ?10bn, Netflix over $39bn.
It must be very difficult to hold on to decent people at BBC, like here OF can buy everyone in Scottish Football, BBC = DFC in football terms!

I got as far as page 15 where it says (quote) 'We are prioritising three essential roles, PURSUE TRUTH WITH NO AGENDA.... by reporting fearlessly and fairly'.

At that point I spat out my coffee, wet myself, laughed uncontrollably for ten minutes and then had to lie down in a darkened room for an hour.

He doesn't really want facts or figures, he's just being a fanny as usual.

Completely agree, Deeranged. It is absolutely obvious that these standards are absolutely not being adhered to. BBC has been infiltrated by politically motivated pygmies, who are not at all interested in the truth.
It is a disgrace and I don't think they are even aware of their disgraceful behaviour.

You posted something which I thought you’d researched.

I was only asking for some data from you.

No need to get upset about it.
