No one will ever tell me cups don't matter again.

Don't remember such excitement and joy when they finished 5th

Genuinely pleased for the people involved down Paisley way who bravely took on the responsibility for their local club. To make the commitment they have at all levels and be rewarded with the success on the park by way of a major honour must be really special.
Admiration also for folk offering their hard earned cash, time and effort at the likes of Hearts, Falkirk and Motherwell where there also appears to be much happening on and off the park.
The game in Scotland is set up these days to make the countries biggest clubs stronger, the rest have to find ways and means of innovating and maximising opportunties. The three teams at the bottom of the league are probably the same three clubs that are lagging behind the rest on that front too. It’s all eggs in one basket at Dundee with the promise of a state of the art stadium that Dundee can afford to rent. Season ticket holders are staying away in number greater than ever before and if that trend continues long term they will be wasting their time continuing to talk about it. The increasing number of away fans attending Dens and the continued loyalty of people still renewing season tickets doesn’t make the average attendances look too bad but worse case scenario and both these sources of income could be on borrowed time.
If there’s no significant movement in the months ahead regarding the stadium, the team get relegated and the board continue with the heads down in the bunker approach they are heading for trouble. I really do wonder if anyone within the inner reaches of The Club, the Supporters Association or the Football Trust can see that and has the courage to raise the issue before it’s too late.
Dundee fans have gone from feeling Deefiant to utterly Deeflated, apathy is rife, people genuinely want to be part of something they feel proud of, they long to have a sense of belonging, an association within their community that they enjoy.

Well done to The Buddies you’ve delivered, good luck to The Dee.

There are still too many that see what's going on on the pitch and the manager as the be all and end all.

The manager ( head coach ) has been here for 5/6 months, Nelms and co 13 or so years.......that's a bit of a difference.

Folk haven't become "Deeflated" over 6 months it's been a much longer process.

Nelms alienates people, ably assisted by the ginger Obe Wan Kanobi.....they both give off the vibe that we should be honoured by their presence.

Nelms and the way he runs the club.....is the biggest problem.......how he goes, when he goes, where we go needs leadership and vision that unfortunately I've not seen yet.

The state of the club and stadium will make it very hard for someone else coming in imo.The ideal scenario would be the hearts model on a smaller scale.

The option I think is best.

They get stadium and all the other assorted ****e and they sell club to fans......depending on rent.

Gives fans a chance rather than having major problems from day 1.

I'm going to Motherwell Saturday, get back today......first game since Hibs first day...,..em curious to find out if abuse of manager and team is as bad as I've been told

I wouldn't actually want a Dee running the club to much personal abuse I'd think but I'd want fans group to employ suitable people.

It's a long shot but you never know

The connection between club and fans needs a Steve Austin style makeover.....rebuilt completely......I'll never forgive Nelms for the contempt he holds the fans in.

I was at the aberdeen game and it wasnt abuse as such, mainly just apathy of the whole situation of the club. Was at hospo at north end sat past and at least a dozen dees who would travel to every game were there.
              Hopefully things improve soon.
