Anyone who was receiving their state pension before July 2016 or was contracted out because they have a company pension will not receive the new ?big? state pension.Originally posted by Returnofrros View PostNew flat rate is ?230.25 for state pension.....if you have paid less than 35 years Nics or not had them paid for you, you lose 1/35th for each year.
In your wife's case she has paid slightly less ni due to being in a contracted out employers pension scheme ( or it will have been contracted out at some point )....it's called the COPE amount.
Instead of receiving COPE amount from state her pension scheme pays at least the equivalent of the COPE amount which will be included in her monthly super ann payment.
Think I've got that right.
Layabouts who have never worked a day in their lives because they have some sort of ?illness? which prevents them working but have been receiving their weekly stamp will get the July 2016 ?big? state pension when they reach the state pension age.
It is very unfair but that?s politicians for you. There are not interested in people who try to better themselves.

Dode craigies Mrs does, she just gets a reduced amount to reflect the reduced NI she has paid.....her COPE amount will be paid by her scheme.Originally posted by islaydarkblue View PostShe will probably not get the new state pension because she would be contracted out thanks to her company (NHS) pension.
Where I think it's wrong is those that have paid nothing but had their stamp paid for them receive the full whack.
Most pension schemes are now contracted back in.

Had the misfortune of having to go to Tesco then other day with Mrs sunshine, certainly didn't look like there was a shortage of money......trollies packed to the top with food.
That’ll be for all the poverty stricken kids we have….apparently.

Forgot to say I like having cash at Xmas and new year.
When I went into Tesco 6 folk in queue for ATM, so decided to leave until I came oot.
Plan didn't work 7 in the queue..when I came oot
As I shuffled forward two or 3 places noticed a taxi engine running waiting at an angle at the ATM.
Who gets a taxi to wait while they queue 6 or 7 long at an ATM I wondered, local celebrity perhaps, tax dodging Lorraine at kiddy on home for Xmas trip maybe pensioner bank nurse 😁......nope it was junkie Jill who had the taxi waiting and after conducting her business 3 steps sideways, 1 slight stumble back and 10 steps forward jumps into the taxi and off to do her errrrr Xmas shopping.
****ing country.
