No, that's Motion Of No Confidence which triggers a Vote Of No Confidence.

I'd love to see D4L present an alternative vision of fan ownership.

Not charities wandering round the pitch every week but as good a club as we can become with the support being truly supportive.

Last time never went well but I think other similar sized clubs have shown how it could be done.

I've no confidence you're discussion with Islay will have an amicable outcome. 😁

If not do we know why not? Does anyone think they'll give a toss?

Again I'll ask if you or anyone else can advise what a matter of no confidence actually is. It's terminology I've never come across.
You are correct. The information in the December 2025 Dee4life newsletter is wrong or badly worded. Take your pick.

The Dee4life Chairman told us at the AGM the Dee4life board of directors had written to the DSA the evening before the AGM on 29th November 2025 advising the DSA that the shambolic running of Dundee Football Club by John Nelms was very likely to be discussed at the AGM and it was possible that the DSA secretaries would be doing likewise at their meeting on the same day.
It was also stated that it was difficult to get a Saturday in November which did not clash with the DSA holding their secretaries meeting due to home games being moved from a 3pm Saturday kickoff due to Dundee FC playing in the Premier League.
In my opinion if Steven Pressley remains as manager Dee4life will have no problems holding their 2026 AGM on a Saturday morning in November as we will be playing in the Championship next season.

I can only assume that so many people tip toed around Nelms as they were frightened they would get the blame if Tim Keyes took the huff and stopped bankrolling Dundee Football Club because people were complaining about his managing director John Nelms.
You can also add the Bank of Scotland account which was in operation as a joint venture with Dundee Football Club until Nelms seized DEETV in August 2015.
After various attempts to close the account in 2021 the Dee4life members reluctantly voted to give up their rights to the balance of the account and the Dee4life secretary sent a letter to John Nelms advising that the account now belonged to Dundee Football Club.
It was up to Mr Nelms to close the Bank of Scotland account and transfer the balance into the Dundee Football Club bank account.
In January 2024 I happened to notice in my old emails the name of the joint venture Bank of Scotland account plus the sorting code and account number.
I was in the Bank of Scotland branch on Islay.
I gave the teller the sorting code, account number and name of the joint venture account and asked him to check if the account had been closed.
I told the teller that I did not want to know the balance of the account.
The teller told me that the joint venture Bank of Scotland was still open and it was marked inoperative.
We are not talking about a fortune as back in 2021 the balance of the account was listed in the Dee4life accounts and balance of about two thousand, four hundred pounds.

I understand that the DSA secretaries were having a discussion about the same subject at their meeting on Saturday 29th November 2025 but it never went to a vote.
Perhaps some members of a DSA affiliated supporters club who pst on this board or TDB can confirm this as every DSA member club should have received the minutes of their meeting held on 29th November 2025.

Perhaps you might have accurate information which would explain the DSA position?

It was stated the SLO had ten pages to discuss with Nelms and others from Dens at an arranged meeting we will await the outcome come of that
