Deeranged you have to admit, to raise thousands for the fans benefit, and for him to miss the derby to watch another match is a kick in the teeth for the Arabs that contributed thus making it funny in my eyes

For me it doesn't matter who raised the money for his equipment, or even what team he supports or what game he chooses to use it to watch, the fact is that he's a football fan who's now able to watch football in real time. That's massive for him and the last thing anyone with a disability needs is people trying to get at them through ill thought out SM posts.

I had a visually impaired brother in law ( DAB ) who followed his team home and away including overseas and I have an idea what it must mean to this guy to be able to see as well as hear and feel the football. We take it for granted but plenty aren't as fortunate as us.

I read the OP as a dig at the individual not at the people that raised the cash, maybe I did misinterpret the intent of it but I don't think I did. If the people that raised the cash feel they've been let down in any way by the recipient of their good will that's for them to consider when doing similar things in the future. Having said that I can absolutely see why some Dundee fans would see it as a bit funny based on the peope raising the cash being mostly DABs. Maybe my personal experiences with that particular type of disability make it less easy for me to find any humour in this?

What I definitely won't accept is someone making a post then, when challenged on its intent, trying to deflect by dredging up lies that they themselves made up by about me through choosing to misinterpret one of my posts from years ago. Is it OK for one person to misinterpret a post but not for another?

I hope that particular poster is still waiting for my response to their last comment because I don't feel it's my place to re-state what they know to be facts. Their wait will be a long one. I also hope their next sh1te is a hedgehog - coming out backwards.

You certainly did. Jumped in with yer tackety boots on as you can’t help yourself.

          A real man would apologise.

Now, you certainly made posts about hating the English because they called you Jock.

          Prove me wrong.

So that's his defence? He's heard some opposition fan chanting something nasty so his reaction is to challenge them? Naw he comes on here mocking some blind boy thinking he's funny.

                No no no.

                Stop it.

We all know that you are mocking those less fortunate.

A racist and an old duffer said so.

I hope that?s a joke but unfortunately knowing your posting style it?s an unadulterated dig at those less fortunate than most.

                    Disgusting.

It didn't read to me like the OP was mocking any disability but finding humour in raising money for some DAB to watch/hear (I'm not sure which) their team, but once capable chose to watch OF instead.

A DAB with a disability is still a DAB, and equality rules mean should be subject to same scrutiny for DABBY behaviours as other DABS. Surely that's what not treating people with disabilities differently is all about?
