It was only about half full just after kick off but never mind Shedkarse will be on claiming another full house. Delusional sums it up for me.

As for the pitch I see some of the tubes are claiming the rain has been "unprecedented". Aye unprecedented since this time a couple of years ago when we were in bother. Then the rain belted down just before a run of our home games and our pitch wasn't acceptable in any sense. The DABs are just in the same position that we were in (in fact it is only that the rain relented earlier today that allowed tonight's game to go ahead; any rain on that pitch just before or during the game and it would have been off). I would be fairly sympathetic with them (the DAB support) given the horrendous rain if it wasn't for the fact that they were so smug and supercilious when it was our problem a couple of years ago. So hell mend them, roasters the lot of them!
