Yes, he did, so credit to him. But selling Graham, would have been treachery as far as Pressley was concerned.

Better for us, better for the player and better for the managers sanity.

Need to deliver on "developing" him. This is important for Elvis and Nelms, even more so. There has to be a change from the past where the contract negotiations with the player always seemed to be focused on the duration of the contract and what was the best short term outcome for the club.
Maybe player's agents need to be treated differently?

It is one area I have sympathy with Nelms.

The difference in wages is so vast now between the levels any interest from a bigger club is almost inevitably end in the player going.

I mean what will wright be on at Brum £12 to £15 k per week....mibbe more.

If Graham goes in summer for 1.5 or more I think that's the best we cud hope for and mibbe more than we shud expect.

He was deemed by a lot of our support not good enuf last season 😯

Agents work for agents first and foremost.

Where I get a bit antsi is when youth players are sold B4 getting anywhere near first team......seems to be a lot of it going on in Scotland.

Could be that he's seen what's happened to McCowan at the Tim's and decided it's in his best interest's to be playing regularly as opposed to earning a few buck's more and keeping the bench warm at a bigger club.

Those youth players are deemed as projects from the English clubs.

It?s good money for players who may never kick a ball in anger for us.

Agree. Hope he gets the additional game time and coaching that will earn him a better move than simply to the OF bench. He needs to work hard though, so there is a bit of personal responsibility that could make a huge difference.

Pity that he hasn't done better with the stadium, though. Sounds like the February meeting will come and go without ...

Not talking about the stadium seems to me to help our club. Let John Nelms get on with it, and let Elvis get on with the playing side.
