Unfortunately nothing was done about it because Dundee FC players started winning matches and the D4L board of directors bottled it.

An alternative view, the Board did not respond to the calls for immediate action. Wisely, as it turns out, Elvis has not left the building, the team have not been relegated by Christmas and the team seems to be building up our support.
Of course we are not safe, but the climate that called for direct action never materialised and I think the board of Dee4life have acted 8n the best interests of DFC. My opinion 9nly, other views are available.

I have discussed the scenario of the vote of no confidence in John Nelms at the Dee4life AGM on 29th November 2025 with several Dee4life members and we agreed that this was the only suitable time to do something about it.
It cannot be done in January due to the Transfer window nor in the period up to the end of the season especially if the team is fighting relegation or the play off spot.
It is not an ideal time to do it immediately after the end of the season as season tickets go on sale nor at the beginning of the next season which brings us back to the end of November at the Dee4life AGM.
            Dee4life have another major problem.
At the end of April 2026 they will only have four directors with no Financial Director and no Chairman.
They require a minimum of five directors to operate and they need new blood on the Dee4life board of directors with new ideas to take things forward.
In my opinion the Dee4life board of directors need to state that they will be enforcing the entrenched rights of their A shares and request their Primary representative on the Dundee Football Club Limited board of directors.
The should send an email directly to Tim Keyes requesting their Primary representative on the Dundee Football Club Limited board of directors with immediate effect under rules 79-82 of the Dundee Football Club Limited Articles of Association.
Doing nothing is not an option as they will continue to lose members due to apathy by the current Dee4life board of directors.

So that's now twice where D4L have went against members express wish and vote.

              Poor state of affairs.

Chairman away in April as well, gonna miss his match reports and general cheerleading for nelms and co. 😂

Feet to the fire 🔥 *******s

Nelms feet will have to be amputated due to frost bite.

                  Absolute busted flush.

The most recent members update is typical of the most recent ones - a commentary on the team and a couple of points that stadium isn't moving and bizarrely positive commentary on recent club improvements (no detail or points included).

                    Voted on by arseholes.

                    Rightly ignored.

                      Just for clarity

Are you saying the committee were right to ignore membership cause the membership are arseholes or everybody connected with D4L are arseholes?

Where do you think the credibility of the Dee4life Board would be if they had issued the call for a vote of no confidence in John Nelms? There are many personal posts from posters on TDB forum where the basic theme is "sorry" got this wrong. The appointment of Elvis by John Nelms has not been the disaster that was predicted by many.
It seems to me that there has been a change in the way the club is being run. The manager is running the football side and I hope has more credibility with the owners than any of us thought possible.

I think Dee4life is in a bind. There are those with long memories and are reluctant to move forward. Changing boards is only valuable if there is a change in direction, imo.

Work with the people who work for our club and see where that gets us.

                          They have zero credibility.

A group not to be trusted now.

For clarity, anyone voting in a ?no confidence? vote.

It was never going to change anything.

                            Complete waste of energy.

It wouldn't change anything re Nelms but it would signal a change in direction from D4L.

If there has been no change of direction then I agree a complete waste of time other than highlight that the D4l committee have no intention of holding Nelms to account at all.

BCram imho rather simplifies the matter by making it about Elvis.....it isn't....the unrest with Nelms and the running of the club has went back years now.

Granted there have now been small improvements in the last few months but the suspicion remains for many......myself included.

D4L though seems to be a complete busted flush.
