      No.

Nelms and WGS have taken us down this path so anybody else appointed would also be "head coach" which would limit those who would take the job as well as those who wouldn't touch it with Nelms in charge anyway.

It will still be same recruitment team and mean still being left with the recruitment teams recruitments from the summer and January.

Some of the absolute ****e I have read.

      Jones is now world beater.

Digby is big so should be in team.

      Goalie should be dropped

Donnelly should be brought back....I saw him Monday.....looked overweight.

St j manager is brilliant, Lennon ( 4th in championship ) shud be brought in.....him and nelms wud last 5 mins.

      It's just reactionary guff.

We will finish between 6th and 10th.....pretty much as expected.

Agree with all of that. Jones is a decent player, nothing more, and as has been stated elsewhere is the new Byrne - a world beater when not playing; Donnelly the same. Keeper should have dived for all three goals on Sunday - beaten all ends up because of poor defending for at least two of them and possibly the three.

Any manager better than Pressley - unfortunately I kind of agree because he's not good enough. However if he was to be punted it's the same people looking for a replacement.

Head Coach / Manager debate - whoever picks the team, sets the system and manages the coaching day to day is pretty much the manager. Call him head coach if you like but I'm a bit of a dinosaur in that respect.

also stalling re the season ticket, we have about 6 loan players, will be needing half a team again.

He shud have went for first B4 it hit post but he didn't and I suspect his reaction time is better than mine.

It will alienate me if Elvis is under any threat.

We are always gonna be needing 5/6 players every year no matter how much we plan.

I'd suggest a larger turnover every year to be honest.

One of the few things I disagree with Elvis on.

He thinks we can keep turnover to a minimum 1 or 2 players every year...... I think that's nigh on impossible.

He could've reacted quicker at the first but seemed to be distracted or confused by something. He's not a bad keeper but neither is he great, he's just a Dundee level keeper.

In all honesty if we stay up he should be given another season as replacing managers each season is as damaging as the numerous loans we use.
He is nae pep and this season is a typical Dee's season bottom 6 could go Doon.
That's what divides fans,he has done nothing different than previous managers so fowk that like him will pinpoint his successes while those that done his failures.
We are where we are as a club and only can hope a wee cup run or a Motherwell season(unlikely).
For my part that is where I like to see is try and play decent fitba as at least it's good to watch.
Some prefer win at all costs to finish 7th.
Hopefully we have some of the youth ready to step in to the squad next season as it's always good for club.
                  Hope we survive first tho.

This is the problem for a lot of people, all we have under this current regime is hope; we get promises and no delivery. Top six budget, new stadium - promises, promises, promises.

And according to the popular phrase it's the hope that kills you. It's the hope and subsequent realisation that, in reality, we have none that drives people to extremes like lookng for a win at all cost.

We had some decent youth players, a bit of hope for the future, they got sold on. Luke broke into the first team, he's off after one good season. We have no hope of the better youth players playing for us and improving us in the longer term but that's the nature of a selling club I suppose.

Well said. It is in the DNA of our club, we cash in quickly because our players are only here as a first step on the ladder. We are a stop on the way, rather than being seen as a place to stay.
                      Need to change this mindset,imo.

Hopefully get 3 points Saturday to more or less avoid play off.

Livvy got 10pts from last 6 games, we got 2pts.

If we get 2pts from last 6 games this time, Killie would need to get 8 out of last 6 games......so need 2 wins and a draw from last 4.

1 more PT may be enough for us, 3 pts does it almost certainly
