Young team in a few scraps is happening nationally why the **** are we banning fans for things outside the ground?
Surely old bills job to arrest, then they might at least have a reason to ban.
    Get them back pronto
    It's a farce

Seems like a reasonable approach. Punish them for causing disturbances in the ground but leave police to deal with offensive behaviour outside the ground.
Surprised at the way Rangers fans have been treated by SFA. Seemed to me that the Celtic fans were wrong to invade the pitch. Should have been some sanction applied to them, imo.

I think we need to find a way to work with our Ultras. Banning just harms our club, working with them might actually help society by talking to them and getting them involved as positive role models of how a supporter should behave.
There's a few grumpier fans in Bobby Cox and Mainer who could do with a refresher course in supporting our team. Why not invite them into both stands to help gee up older supporters?

Pars and st j are the two examples I'd like to hold up of working with the younger fans.

St j ultras were a laughing stock but can maybe number 300/400 now and a terrif atmosphere.

              Pars not far behind.

Dee.....thrown oot, banned, no flags, can't call yourselves section 18, no standing......it's pathetic.

I honestly don't know if the bans are the right way forward and despite being of an older generation I like the atmosphere the young lads create. In addition I agree that we've all done daft things as youngsters. What I do know is that, despite views on here to the contrary and appeals to work with the young lads, it is a fact that the club have genuinely tried to work with them and have tried to get them to support the club vigorously but cut out the anti social behaviour. Approaches, discussions and bans have helped reduce the incidences of pyrotechnic use and a similar course of action has been underway recently to try to stop certain behaviour both in and out of the stadium. This time perhaps it is falling on deaf ears. Hopefully not and I would welcome back the boisterous atmosphere asap with the club trying again to 'accomodate' the ultras and the youngsters reigning in some of their more 'unacceptable' antics.

Aye you're right there. Stopping the home support as in our ultra involves bans, carrot and stick etc. Other than searching quite how you stop the old firm minks etc. from getting them in who knows. When you read about them hiding pyro on kids, even in their underwear, it beggars belief but then again police and or stewards aren't going to search bairns so how do you stop them. Our ultras are easier targets hence the bans etc. If they would only behave a wee bit better, not talking about some of the dafter 'naughty' stunts, leaving out the ambushing away support and running wild in the streets then they should be welcomed back, encouraged and allowed to enjoy themselves at Dens.

Just about every other club turns a slightly blind eye to the behaviour of their ultras, our club wants them acting like angels .....that's never gonna happen......I think they have now went **** Dens and go to away games.

Most Respected is like Nelms he rubs folk up the wrong way.

John Burke had a decent relationship with these guys.

Not just easier, the easiest of targets Dode.

                        It ****s me right off.

Dundee used to have a fairly edgy support late 70s and 80s.....but now folk are expected to sit and listen to away supports take over the atmosphere at Dens.....as I say ****s me right off.
