Normal Scottish Football clubs supporters apart from the Dabs wait until the final whistle has been blown before running onto the pitch which often happens after the end of last home game of a season.
Dundee FC supporters did not run onto the Dens Park pitch when Craig Wighton scored the winning goal in the Doon Derby on 2nd May 2016.

Again you are wrong. Dundee fans invaded the pitch after we scored in injury time against Ross County at Dingwall in Tony Docherty first season as manager. I think it was Big Joe Shaunessey who scored.

        Thank you for your information.
Shame on the Dundee FC supporters who invaded the pitch at Ross County.
They were setting a precedent for all and sundry to follow with no action being taken by the Football authorities in Scotland.

Aberdeen also invaded the pitch before Dundee fans that season in Dingwall..a late winner for them early in the season.

I generally think it's best that celebrations stay in the stands rather than on the park. It allows everyone to celebrate and allows the players to have a lap of honour if appropriate etc. I was at Muirton in 1962 as a young lad with my father but didn't go on the park at the end (probably because my father wouldn't let me). In 60+ years of watching Dundee from Dens to Hampden to Perugia to all points in Scotland I have never set foot on the park apart from once. So before I get high and mighty about it I confess to being on the hallowed turf at Dens at the end of one game the European tie v Cologne #2. I managed to stay on the terracing at the end of the 8-1 win in 1962, still a young lad but as a late teenager in 1971 I ended up on the park after the great late comeback against Cologne hugging Biffo and cavorting about like a looney. The circumstances of that game, I reckon, makes it understandable.

See Rangers have weakened Hearts with their approach to Shankland. Yet again they get a player for buttons, and knacker the competition.

Took a player but I don't think hearts will be weaker, I think Bloom is just getting started.

Kinda think we may have an atletico Madrid situation here, a 3rd team just sitting behind the gruesome twosome ready to pounce on any mistakes.

                Time will tell.

I hope other clubs actually manage to repeat their results against the OF. Difficult with the OF 12th man plus VAR advantages.

Watched the sky sports Scottish var show last night, it was an absolute disgrace, collum squirming about trying to justify the Celtic penalty at Motherwell , pretty much saying it was a stonewaller, no idea his views on other pens as I was absolutely sickened by corrupt Wullie and switched off

Callum is looking after ‘his’ Celtic team.
The SFA should never have appointed Collum in charge of refereeing in Scotland as Collum was hopeless as a football referee. This is why Collum saw nothing wrong with the Celtic penalty at Motherwell awarded by brother Beaton as Collum if he had been the referee in charge of the Motherwell match would have also given Celtic a penalty.

In my opinion there is no chance of other clubs repeating their results against the Old Firm next season unless foreign referees are put in charge of both the matches and VAR.
Rangers are up to their old tricks of weakening the opposition by signing Shankland from Hearts.
I find it amusing when the Old Firm supporters complain that their clubs do not do well in European competitions because of a lack of opposition from the other SPFL Premier League clubs.
In these Old Firm supporters had half a brain they soon would realise that their own football clubs are the root cause of the problem by signing the best players from other SPFL Premier League clubs to weaken the opposition.

Wonder if AI could run VAR. Even artificial intelligence will be better than no intelligence.

I have thought about using AI to run VAR.
However I do not think that it would be a good idea as A1 would have been programmed in advance to ensure that every decision was given to Rangers and Celtic except during matches between Rangers and Celtic when it would be switched off.
