    Sudanese.

Gets himself to Paris, gets over to Dublin, bus to Belfast, claims asylum, granted permanent leave to remain, attempts to cut someone's head off after stabbing them in eyes, face and neck.

Not the usual behaviour from future NHS worker, engineer or astronaut.

According to the laid down rules for asylum seekers they are supposed to seek asylum in the first country they arrive in.
France is a safe country so this asylum seeker from Sudan should have sought asylum in France and remained there.

That's probably the single issue that if it were sorted would help. Why are there migrants? Seems to me the origins of migration are not primarily about economic betterment. Look at the lawless cultures of many of the countries.

Import the third world and you get the third world?

Swinney on TV whinging about far right mobs attacking immigrants. Yes they did attack immigrants but he ignores the root cause, uncontrolled, illegal immigration - if this guy had sought 'asylum' in the first safe country he landed in this attack would not have happened in Belfast. OK it might have happened in Paris but likelihood is he'd have headed home because he couldn't get access to the UK's pot of welfare gold.

They come for the welfare, they come for free food, free housing, free phones and in some cases free cars.

They come because the pull of the UK is greater than any country.

Plenty of Muslim republics to go to but they come here

                Swinney can do one.

I think the odd bit is where does the money come from to pay for the boats.

A lot of these people have money or their families borrow the money to allow them to be smuggled on the boats. Once these illegal immigrants are in the U.K. and get asylum then their family members are looking to join them.
Swinney in my opinion is clueless and if Swinney is so keen on illegal immigrants coming to the U.K. he can put them up in Bute House in Edinburgh at his own expense.

The politicians have let this get out of control for years and years, yet blame everyone else when it goes wrong. Heads in the sand lefties who believe in mass immigration, diversity etc. What they mean is forced diversity, with no say on it. Then blame the " far right ".

It is the easy option for the politicians to blame the ‘far right’ for these protests when in reality a lot of people throughout the U.K. are fed up with taxpayers money being squandered paying for the board and lodgings of all these illegal immigrants.
We have enough crime in the U.K. without extra crime being imported into the U.K. thanks to these illegal immigrants thinking that they can do as they please and not abide by the U.K. laws.
Hopefully this person from Sudan who has been charged with attempted murder will be immediately deported from the U.K. after he has served his prison sentence.
