The few times I've listened to radio Scotland .....Bonner still spouts " full house, it's the biggest game of the season when the old firm comes to town ".......I don't think anyone bar hearts get a full house v the old firm, maybe Falkirk will this year.......but it's just decades old drivel.....auld hat.

McFadden is almost as ridiculous on TV.

Only one I have anytime for is Micheal Stewart who accepts our football for what it is and ain't old firmed oot his nut.

I also like Michael Stewart, honest and forthright - doesn't care who he pi55es off and tells it like it is.

I also like Kris Boyd but only when The Rangers get beat. His puss goes a into a frown that's funnier than Mrs Brown's Boys - but then I suppose that doesn't really say much does it?

          • Think we should be told what the solutions are, not be continually asked to make suggestions that are shot down. For example if there was no carparking at the stadium, would that solve the traffic problems for Transport Scotland?

Like your optimism with "we".......I think this is Nelmsy FPS project and very little to do with club and almost nothing to do with fans of the club.......just don't count Nelmsy as a "we or us".......doubt he does either.

Whole thing is beyond wearying now.

Got my doubts it will even go before the council this calendar year.

If it rolls onto next year the next we will hear about it will be season tic renewal time.

How long is that since DSA leaders were sent out to say everything was ready to go at one of their meetings.....a year, year and a half.....Cannae mind.....all seems to blur into one now.

Going to start another count.....+10 days SDD ( stadium due date ) cause I like this thread.

              • Update on official.

But no update or dialogue with TS.

Unless I'm missing something that's who has to agree first and foremost.

Trying to be a bit more supportive of our club. Just had a read of some of the criticism levelled at Celtic Board. They seem to think they can bring pressure to bear on their board. Personally I think the historic problems with their youth leaders might have encouraged the club to hoard cash until all the claims are settled, so their Board may have not wanted to say anything about the issue, but taken a decision to conserve cash.
Can't think of any other reason, apart from perhaps their manager isn't as good as he thinks he is, and they don't trust him.

In what way are you trying to be more supportive?

The DSA have been strangely quiet about the new stadium at Campy Nou since they told their members that everything was ready to go ages ago. In my opinion they should be giving their members an update and details of the correct date, if ever that the Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited new stadium will be built and ready for use especially as Nelms’s door is always open to the DSA.

I do not understand why you are supportive of our club.
Nelms will not speak to the rank and file Dundee FC supporters, only a select group of Yes men.

I want DFC to be the best they can be. At the moment, on the playing side, they have a new manager who was appointed in unusual circumstances and who is trying to correct defensive frailties that bedevilled us for the past two years. I hope he sorts that out, and I think he is doing that.
The goal scoring side is not working yet, but we have new players who should fix that.
The stadium side is still being worked on, so despite my pessimism it could work for us, and crucial to that is having a team to play there, so there is additional pressure to improve the team.
                            That's why I support DFC.

Think that ship sailed a guid few decades ago B cram.

I genuinely believe folk have lost heart, there's not a lot of affection between club and fans and vice versa.

I have warned about it for years that we weren't getting the basics right and every year, for 6 years now ( I think ) we have lost season tic holders and regular attenders.

Jam tomorrow is nae use if you dinnae have a piece to put it on.
