Been that way for some time now, make a promise about a bright future in a shiny new stadium then hope the mugs forget about it for a while. Then when noises start to get made make a further promise about a bright future in a shiny new stadium - repeat ad nauseum.Originally posted by Returnofrros View Post548....all went quiet again

The new stadium got a mention on last night’s BBC Scotland A View from the Terrace where the presenters suggested that they should to get to Dens Park for tomorrow’s Dundee v Kilmarnock game before the club move to a new out of town stadium.Originally posted by Returnofrros View Post548....all went quiet again
Nelmsy will not be happy as they were not complementary about his new stadium preferring Dens Park with the Archibald Leitch designed Main Stand.
Sean McGuigan stated that the new stadium has been getting announced every six months.Last edited by islaydarkblue; 02-03-2024, 11:03 AM.

The location of the proposed new stadium is withing the boundary of the City of Dundee. So where did they get this 'out of town' nonsense from? Have you been emailing them with your ridiculous theories? Or have you made that part up just for that post?Originally posted by islaydarkblue View PostThe new stadium got a mention on last night’s BBC Scotland A View from the Terrace where the presenters suggested that they should to get to Dens Park for tomorrow’s Dundee v Kilmarnock game before the club move to a new out of town stadium.

I would also prefer Dens Park to some soulless new build so can agree with Sean McGuigan (whoever he is) on that part.

Goodness knows who will be daft enough to lend the money to build his new stadium development considering Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited have already borrowed money at payday borrowing rates for commercial companies with their new stadium development site secured against their loan. This was surprising as Nelmsy had previously stated just over six months before he got this loan that Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited could easily get funding from financial companies in the City of London should there be any shortfall in the funding for the new stadium development at the Camperdown Leisure Park.Originally posted by Returnofrros View PostMaybe Nelmsy will go into super drive slick salesman mode if they get planning......the football club needs him to.
This needs sold to the punters as much as the council.
I heard that area of the site earmarked for housing is worth about £6 - £7 million assuming that Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited get planning permission to build houses on that part of the site.
