Gasp, shock, horror another delayOriginally posted by parcbara View PostNo show at the March meeting.
Anybody that's genuinely surprised by this needs taken outside and shaken vigorously - I'm not the type to hit anyone.
But once again Nelms' inaction and lack of comment on the matter will be excused by the apologists. Honestly though, why can't they see it?
Being taken for a ride and not a peep from DSA who are too scared to comment.
Dee4Life could comment but they're still making efforts to crawl up Nelmsys behind so won't as it'll set them further back if that's even possible.
The press - they even broach the subject and they'll be banned from the weekly bull**** session so won't.
All that's left is the eyes wide open lot that post on this forum. Personally I'm happy to sit back and watch as it all falls to bits because not a single person believed me when I said, probably more than 4 years ago, that this stadium will never happen. For the record I still hope he proves me wrong.

I wonder if not having a new stadium is actually the official policy, just not publicised. We need to get the football side firing on all cylinders. That way there is a business that people can believe in and invest in.Originally posted by Deeranged View PostGasp, shock, horror another delay

I don't think they want it, but it's irrelevant to them if stadium dosent go ahead.Originally posted by BCram View PostDo you think that is the plan? What I'm saying and have been saying for last 3 or 4 years is that's where I think we will end up if the stadium isn't built as Dens is pretty much irreparable.
If there is a tannadice doomsday clock it ticks ever closer with every delay.
Thank God this is planning "on steroids" 🤣 otherwise there might be delays after delay after delay......oh hud on

According to the minutes of the Q and A part of the Dee4life AGM held on Saturday 1st February 2025 the Dee4life board of directors are intending to try to build bridges with the management of Dundee Football Club including John Nelms.Originally posted by Returnofrros View PostAbsolutely frightening that he gets away without making any comment,.....no pressure from D4L, no pressure from DSA, no pressure from local press.
Even those that want to move must be thoroughly ****ed off by now.
When Nelms sent his message boy to tell the Dee4life members at the Dee4life AGM in November 2023 his message boy stated that Nelms would no longer speak with the Dee4life board of directors.
Instead the Dee4life board of directors would have to convey any correspondence to John Nelms through the SLO (John Burke).
In my opinion this was a non starter as the SLO (John Burke) has since stated that he only speaks to lower members of staff in Dundee Football Club and he does not speak to John Nelms in his capacity as the Dundee Football Club SLO.
However JB may speak to John Nelms in his capacity as a DSA committee member as Nelms has previously stated that his door is always open to the DSA. That is until Nelms no longer requires the DSA and they will be jettisoned like everyone else.

This afternoon I was watching the Argyll and Bute Council meeting live on my iPad about the controversial Isle of Mull new school campusOriginally posted by BCram View PostDo you think that is the plan? It was as exciting as watching paint dry.
However it was stated during the meeting that firm of quantity surveyors Argyll and Bute Council use have advised that construction projects have had an annual inflation rate of 3.5% since 2022.
This means that Nelms?s new stadium development at Campy Nou which was costing ?95 million to build two years ago will now cost over ?100 million and upwards by the time there is a spade in ground if that ever happens.

I think that Nelms’s plan is for ground sharing at Tannadice leading to an eventual merger with the Dabs.Originally posted by Returnofrros View PostI don't think they want it, but it's irrelevant to them if stadium dosent go ahead.

Hopefully this will never happen in my lifetime.
