As I've said many times - rarely wrong.

I don't read that nonsense board any more, all the Dundee fans have been banned and it's just Arabs left. At least the resident DAB on here has the decency to tell people what he is. Just a pity that what he is is a total moron.

And how on earth can you say with a straight face that you've never seen anyone walking on the flyover using it as a shortcut to get to cinema or ice arena? You can't possibly know what the intention of any pedestrian is unless you stop and ask every single one of them. And for the record plenty people walk over the flyover, presumably to get to the cinema, ice arena and even the bus stop outside the Camperdown gates. I know people cross it because I've seen people cross it but to be fair I can only speculate as their intended ultimate destination - could be St Marys for I know or care.
When I was a member of Downfield Golf Club I used to see hordes of people walking down the hill from what is now called the Dryburgh industrial estate where they had parked their cars prior to attending the ice hockey matches in the Dundee Ice Arena.
All this speculation about car parking for both sets of supporters prior to home games in the new football stadium will only come to fruition if the directors of Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited (DBPHL) can source and borrow the required funds to build the new stadium which a couple of years ago was going to cost ?50 million with Dundee Football Club contributing half of the cost.
Dundee Football Club were due FPS and DBPHL ?4.8 million at 31st May 2023 with no assets so how they are going to be able to contribute ?25 million is a mystery to me.
Perhaps Nelmsy has a Dundee Football Club magic mystery tree containing these funds.

No. A considered and rational assessment of you. Just my opinion, mind.

It's not a made up story, 100% factual

                        • Scanning a few other sites and social media, there's still this belief that all the moneys from all the other things in and around the stadium development will be put into the football club.

I don't believe Nelmsy or any of his lackeys have ever said this.

                          Why is it assumed ?

That's the point. The crematorium model was based on StJ running a successful catering business based on conferences and after funeral catering. Good car parking availability is essential if you are trying to cater for post funeral functions.
Nelms did say that the catering income generated for St Johnstone was like a few thousand ST sales. Can't remember the exact number but even 3000 ST at ?350 would be worth ?1m.

So all this extra money goes to DFC?

I've never heard him say that

Sorry Rross. Maybe poor post from me. He said that the StJ model was worth the equivalent of x number of ST sales. I thought he said that this meant that StJ actually had the equivalent to 6500 STs. I took the difference between 6500 and 3500 which I thought at the time was their actual ST sales and multiplied the 3000 by ?350 to get a cash figure. The point was that the catering and conference facilities were based in McDermid. That's the additional income stream, not the profits of running a crematorium.
