OP suggested this forum was dead. I don't think it necessarily is but if the last 5 or 6 pages of bickering, backbiting nonsense on this thread is the best it can produce it surely is on its last legs. Can you guys who clearly cannot stand each other not carry out their petty squabbles on PMs or meet up somewhere and sort it or each other out once and for all and give the rest of us peace.

That's not really the point. If there is a thread started about all your feuds and contains nothing but such nonsense then fair enough your argument stands. It's when threads are started on other subjects, even occasionally Dundee F C and other fitba' topics, and they become taken over by aforementioned bickering and abuse that's a problem to me and no doubt others who have abandoned this forum. You shouldn't have to pick your way through pages of vitriol to find posts relating to the original topic or indeed "give it a miss" after it has been hijacked. That imo is what is killing this forum! Maybe it's unintentional, maybe deliberate but the scarce number of posters, threads etc. these days sort of proves the end result of the situation.
