  • I wonder if

D4L regret the route they took after the infamous hold his feet to the fire meeting ( their words ) or are tickety boo on how Nelms is running the club.

If somebody cud ask at the next meeting I'd be curious what the answer is.

    Thank you.

I would think they are not tickety boo on how Nelms is running the club, but they have kept a low profile and tried to help the club.
You will remember that they have had considerable flak from supporters just because of actions taken in the past.
There was also a clear message relayed to them that John Nelms did not want to speak to them.
Seems to me that DSA is better placed to give some tough love to help John Nelms to take difficult decisions.
I am a member of Dee4life and have a small share holding.
Would like to see a return of a proper AGM, and maybe Dee4life could help with the admin to achieve that.

B Cram if your waiting on DSA to give Nelmsy some tough love you'd be as well waiting to see me in a tangerine top.

So if they ain't tickety boo wtf are they doing?......general appeasement never ever ever works......since the 🐾 to the fire 🔥 meeting Nelmsy has treated them with even more disdain......wtf have they got to lose asking questions and demanding answers...nothing.....cause they have nothing to lose.

Seems to me they are waiting. They believe, imo, they are not going to get anywhere as a militant organisation because of the past and DSA. I had hoped they might find additional projects to try to build their membership. They are not seen as the natural rallying point for fans. Maybe their time will come but I doubt a rallying cry, along the lines of Sack the Board, would be listened to.

I have previously posted that the Dee4life board of directors had their chance when Nelms replied to their nomination of Kenny Valentine as their Primary representative that the nomination of their Primary representative was a hostile act which would be dealt with under the Club?s Articles of Incorporation (American term).
I was present at the Dee4life board of directors meeting and I still have a copy the letter signed Dundee FC Limited.
I stated that we should send a letter to Nelms stating that we want our Primary representative elected to the Dundee Football Club Limited board of directors under rules 79-82 of the Club?s Articles of Association. (Correct name).
I was overruled by the Vice Chairman of Dee4life at the time, Grant Hill who wanted to have dialogue with Nelms which of course never happened.
Unfortunately a majority of the directors backed Grant Hill?s proposal to have dialogue despite me warning them that ?You cannot have dialogue with a deaf mute?. Sorry for using your excellent post Returnofrros.
          The rest is history.
The Dee4life board of directors got nowhere trying to have meetings with Nelms and they lost hundreds of members as a result of their inaction.

During last Friday night?s Tales from the Terrace programme on BBC Scotland there was a piece about the Rangers supporters discontent with Russell Martin and Patrick Stewart (I think that is his name) the Chief Executive of Rangers FC.
The Rangers supporters have chanted throughout their football matches ?Martin, Martin GTF? with similar chants about their Chief Executive.
Their chants and discontent have succeeded as far as Russell Martin is concerned.
In my opinion the Dundee FC supporters should be chanting at every game ?Pressley, Pressley GTF? and Nelms, Nelms GTF? until both are no longer employed by Dundee Football Club Limited.
This is providing there are any Dundee FC supporters attending home games for the remainder of this season.

                What board ?

There are no questions, no interviews with local press raising their concerns ( if they have any ) no projects......they seem to think we have A shares that's it......club is dying from within and they do nothing.

I don't blame them for trying ......despite going against the wishes of membership but I do blame them now when they are going nowhere with that plan.

Unlike a number of Dundee FC supporters I do not have a firestick.
My next home game at Dens Park will be the home game against St Mirren on Saturday 29th November 2025 which is the same day as the Dee4life AGM.
I do not attend home games against Celtic and Rangers.

John Nelms is part of the owners of DFC. Patrick Stewart is a recently employed CEO and therefore an employee, which makes a bit of a difference.

I do not think that John Nelms is part of the majority owners of DFC as he is no longer mentioned in the DFC Limited annual accounts as being a member of FPS.
Nelms is the managing director of Dundee Football Club Limited and is being paid a rumoured annual salary of ?170,000.

A rumoured salary, I thought you were so business and accountancy savvy that you could scrutinise annual accounts, even the shortened ones, and tell exactly where every penny had gone in that year - you bang on about it relentlessly after all. I've personally never heard that salary rumoured - not even by John Nelms' biggest and most bitter critic (that's you by the way).

It really is time for you to either put up or **** off with your threats to expose John Nelms. I think most of us on this forum have had just about all we can stomach from you. The club's a total shambles and life as a Dundee fan is hard enough without your constant bitterness being thrown about on this forum and on the Friends Of Dundee FC FaceBook page. How fkn ironic is it that you're even regisered on that FaceBook page when you blatantly hate the club so much?
