  • A lot of revisionist history

Going on on various fan sites.

You'd think everyone was on the Nelmsy GTF train for years, some very openly supportive fans up to 3 months ago now acting and posting as if they knew he was hopeless all along.

Blinded by a stadium development that will never be ours for the best part of a decade.

Fitba fans in general are fickle as f*** couple of seasons ago we were a couple of wins away from possible european competition, things were better on the pitch and we had a likeable manager who played good fitba(with obvious defensive flaws).Fans tend to go along we things outwith the club if things on the pitch are decent, the minute it goes pear shaped they turn and it could possibly be some have had enough after bowyer, docherty sackings and appointments like Mcintyre and pressley.
The owners also had a few brownie points in the bag seeing as they have put in more cash than most if not all and cover the losses each year.
Most fans now are realising things are not great on or off the pitch and the fanbase is at its lowest in decades,it doesnt really matter who hated Nelms first as some of his tenure we have done ok,the last straw was getting rid of a manger who tried to play good football and employing a manager who doesnt galvanise any supporter, all this while the ongoing debacle of the proposed stadium.
We need change and quickly or its 2/3000 home fans for the forseeable.

Well it matters to me as the same sycophants as the Nelmsy sycophants will be telling us any new owners are great with zero evidence for that either.

And in particular it does matter that DSA are fully behind the liar and D4L say nothing.

The 2/3000 is irrelevant now as the club has lost its own support, it's heartbeat and it's passion

Nelms is to blame and plenty tried to warn it was coming.

Who has tried to warn it and by what means did they make the warning?
Letter to club, speaking out at meetings?
I've yet to hear many opposition other than a few on forums.

Did you not think Melville was great, promising the world?

Forums, speaking out at meetings and voting with their feet.

Very few dissenting voices even a couple of years ago, some notable exceptions on here.

FPS and Nelms in particular have destroyed this club from the inside.

Have a look at Pravda, FPS years, part 1 to 12......it's tragic.

Even though I'm no going now I still want to see them oot.

I tried pretty early on to say that Nelms wasn't what many painted him as and that the new stadium was a pie in the sky scheme from its inception but got nothing but abuse so I gave up.

After years of sitting back and watching the decline I'm no longer prepared to support Dundee FC financially and will not be renewing my season ticket next season, have cancelled DeeTV and will not be renewing my Dee Lotto when it comes around. If that makes me sound as bitter as Islay then so be it, I don't care, Nelms and his poor management of the club has got me here.

I just wish I'd held off buying my season ticket for this season because had I seen who he hired as manager I wouldn't have bothered.

People were still trying to justify them letting Dens turn into a tip 6 months ago.....6 months.

It will all be ok once the stadium is built, 2019, 2021, 2024.......all targets have come and gone......

So in reality the warnings have been limited,I agree though a change of ownership is needed to try and get the club back on track with the fan base.I dont read the other forum now.
Doubt anything will change tho until they pull the plug on campy.

Who runs these organisations?I know a few boys who never miss a game and they are getting pissed off at nelms, these boys are not just realising they usually just go follow the team for the fitba.I wonder what our mutual pal on here thinks as he will be involved.

When there's no AGM,no Q&A , no recognition of 2nd largest shareholder, no place on the board for 2nd largest shareholder, weak local press and complete intransigence from Nelms then people raising issues on forums, going to meetings to raise concerns and the like is all we have and we are lucky that we're people ( like Deeranged and others ) doing this despite a lot of the time being at best ignored and a worst accused of sabbatage of the club and personal grievances.

FPS parts 1 to 12......all laid out in black and white.
