In Greece did the govt not just close the banks and take 10% out of everybody's bank account?

Think in this country it would be a percentage of pension scheme in and not in payment as well.......desperate times......no sure how they can get 10% of property but if there is a way 🤔

Anyway they will just have to give the magic money tree another shake, the furlough branch bare, triple lock branch bare, welfare branch bare, pension branch at breaking point, foreign aid branch gave away crop, Ukraine branch had to saw branch AFF, only branch that is bountiful is migrant branch.....but that's for migrants.

Mibbe just plant another tree and a thing will be ok in 30 years.

My RAF pension is also considered a benefit, related to rank at de-mob and also triple locked - basically an add on to state pension except it's paid from age 60. You even have to claim it.

I guess that's what you get for fighting in wars and defending the nation against the red terror so that immigrants can walk in and take it.

People are trying to tell you that your pension isn't based on how much NI you paid today but for some reason you seem unable to understand. Trying to discuss the intricate workings of tax collection with a man who can't turn up at the right ground on matchday is clearly futile.

Someone who has paid thousands in NIC contributions over 30 years would receive 30/35ths of state pension.

Someone who has been a carer or sick for 35 years and paid no NICs but received NI credits would receive a higher state pension

                        It's a fairly simple if unfair system....it ain't difficult.

Well it seems difficult for some to understand, it's not collected over the years you know it all depends what you've paid that day.

Easy to understand for those with a grasp on reality.

                            Rules you out.

Show me where I?ve said it?s based on NI contributions.

If not, I?m sure you?ll be man enough to apologise.

Between paying NICs ( sometimes very little, sometimes a lot ) and my NI credits I have 41 years.......it dosent matter if I become chairman of Shell and pay thousands in NICs I ain't getting a bigger state pension than I have already been promised.

I have my full quota of years, just like anyone else who has 35 years contributions whether through work or qualifying benefits.
