  • Have United fallen out with Google?

When I'm checking the score on match days, I like to just be able to type "Dundee United" into Google and it brings up the game with the latest score right at the top of the screen. You can then click on it and get all the line ups, stats, etc.

On Saturday v St Mirren, that feature wasn't available. Top result was a link to the official website and then loads of "latest news" for United.

If I typed in "St Mirren" then it worked in the usual way, but our badge wasn't there.

It's the same today - the game for tonight isn't showing up if I search for "Dundee United" but it does show up if I search for "Motherwell" and again, our badge isn't there, while Motherwell's is.

I used to get Google alerts for game day, lineups, live scores if I wanted it but not in the last couple of months. Didn't use it to be honest.

Oh yeah, there are plenty of other ways to check the latest score, I'm just curious as to why this has recently stopped working and why just for United? Type in any other team that is playing tonight - Hibs, Kilmarnock, Celtic, and their game comes up at the top of the screen. It works if you type in "Motherwell", but not "Dundee United". Same at the weekend with St Mirren.
