  • Owen Stirton

He's is good enough to be playing very regularly for us. He is good enough to start for us. Every time he's played he's been a threat, he wins headers, he competes, he has the fight in him,he's quite pacy for a big lad. I heard a horrible rumour a few weeks ago we are welcoming bids for him i really hope this isn't true and if be absolutely raging at the club if they sold him.

If he was born in a foreign country, he would be used more often by Goodwin.

Goodwin knows exactly what Owen Stirton offers and he'll get his chance.

seems to be the way the top flight is going in Scotland, getting flooded with bang average foreigners, we are one of the biggest culprits now. All these young Scottish players that are going to be lost to the game as a Result.

Stirton wont get a proper chance, most likely farmed out on loan unless we need to fill a homegrown quota.

Let?s see what the season brings, Krivokapic, Olafson, Pederson, Kalvenes, Dystra, Petric etc all legends in my opinion, hopefully the new brigade will create some more stories for our young supporters to tell their grandchildren in years to come

And the shed go marching on 🧡🖤

With all these foreigners in the team I'm going to say that this season I have more hope in United winning at Parkhead. Celtic are not great against foreign teams and in the few matches I have seen of these new recruits I have been impressed with a lot of them. They are still finding their feet and I think if Goodwin prefers this three at the back he has to sacrifice one forward and put the extra man in central midfield so that we get the foot on the ball more often.

I hope to see the reserves playing on a Monday night at Tannadice and seeing the young Scottish lads playing with the more experienced players because this will bring them on more. However only the phuckwits in Scotland would have it that most need to be 19 or under with a few over aged players.

'For the first time, in a competitive match, the Dundee United team sheet was without a solitary Scottish player in the starting XI.'
